What do you think of the new Jodie Marsh??

Hi all

So Jodie Marsh has gone from 25% bf to 10% in just 8 weeks!! How????

Do you think she has used steroids? Her abs look great, why can't i get abs like that??!!

Mind you if i could afford lipo then i probably would...

Yeap, she's got great abs for sure, but I doubt she did it in 8 weeks, there's no way she went down from 25 % to 10 %, that would mean she went down almost
2 % in BF a week, not possible..

Can't believe all u read, maybe that's what she's claiming, but most likely not true, & even if true, it's not ideal, when u loose fat that rapidly you're probably loosing muscle mass as well, normally a 0.5 % per week it's what's recommended....

BTW, the only way to get abs like that Frenchy is to bring down your BF, we all have the abs, once your BF drops, your abs will show... Usually between 14-17 % in women.

I think 10 % BF for a women is almost impossible to maintain all year round,
I personally like the range 15-16 %
I think it looks lean enough & still feminine..
 
Yeah true. Would love to be 15% bf! Soooooo hard I'll never ever have abs on show. I can feel them solid underneath my fat lol.

I just hate carrying it here, I reckon im carb sensitive u know as I said before. I don't feel I need many carbs I hate force feeding myself..

I hear ya girl, I was always very, very thin I'm 5'6 and my weight was always between 112-114 lbs, I was a runner, so I had a very athletic body, but looked a bit too skinny,
I now weigh 126 lbs & I'm happier with how I look now then I did in my 20's.

I first two pregnancies were very close together, & even though I only gained around 18 lbs in each pregnancy & stayed fit through out, my abs said bye, bye to me, & then with my 3rd pregnancy I gained a little more weight & it was really hard for me to loose the last 10pounds... then realized my diet needed tweaking & so did my cardio routine.

Brining your BF down it's really 80 % diet, it's really amazing what the right diet does for your body.


Once u bring down your body fat your abs will show, so don't worry it's very possible & you'll get there, just stick to the program :)

Yeah it's all diet I know and adding more Cardio. Do you ever do spinning? That's
my cardio I love it and I find I do lose some weight doing that.

Me and you talked about the carb cycle- I just don't think carbs are for me. What I think I'm better off doing is maybe 2 high days 1 low and the rest zero each week.

I also think it was you I showed that link for for the diet I found in muscle and fitness hers?? Not sure if you remember...

I have worked out on week one she is taking 1300 calories, 24g fat, 110g carbs and 150g protein.
I may try this- I know it's based on 140Ib woman- im 130 but possibly just make a few adjustments here and thee??
I may pack in more proteins but this a cutting diet which is what I need and especially when on a var cycle xxxx
 
Jodie Marsh was not 25% body fat! I think she looked good but was in the wrong class. She should've done figure, not physique. She was very lean but not the right build for it.
The poor girl will do anything for attention..
 
Don't get trapped into thinking you need to do more cardio, too much can raise cortisol levels, eat away lean tissue and tire you out.
It's possible to get super lean without any cardio, if you have to do lots you either have a skewed metabolism, possibly something up with your thyroid which only blood tests will show, or you just don't have the right diet.

An effective workout also helps loads, contracting the muscle hard on each rep and using proper posture and form. Things like that make a huge difference.

My body fat is quite high at the moment because I had my son 3 months ago, but I still can see my top abs and my obliques - keeping good posture when walking around with my baby, sitting and any other time keeps my abs engaged and they appear pretty good post pregnancy.

The last thing is genetics. I have the type of genes that add muscle easily and I keep my shape from years of muscle building. Some people just lose it all when they stop. Once you know your body type and how it reacts to the right diet/training and your genetic potential, you have all the tools to build your perfect bod. :dance2:

I get ya!:) I never really did cardio- I recently started adding it in 2-3x per week HIIT. I pack muscle on my arms/shoulders easily!

Yeah yr right it's my diet. I'm gonna do a carb cycle but getting in loads of carbs on a high day I find hard as I've never been a huge carb eater and don't find I need lots anyway!

Keto is to hard I don't have energy on that.

All very confusing to be honest :/
