What exercise you like best for Cardio?

Im gettin sick of bangin away on the treadmill so are my knees. Is the elliptical effective. Ive used it a few times but it seems to burn out my quads too quick. I wish I lived on the beach cause I would do all cardio there like jogs surfin etc. wvolleyball.

What exercise do you like?
 
I usually walk on a treadmill or around my neighborhood at a moderate pace for 30-45 minutes. Or I occasionally use the elliptical and do HIIT for 20-30 minutes.
 
The Precor machine (Elliptical machine) is by far my favorite. I will do a 25 minute session, with 5 minutes of cool down.

I love the Precor....its not bad on your knees, and plus I hate to run.

I don't mind doing the stairmaster, but the Precor is my fav.
 
Elliptical machines hands down . . .

Usualy the aerboics crosstrain option that has you speed up, slow down, go forwards and then go backwards . . . .
 
I hate doing cardio, but if I had to pick I'd have to go w/elliptical for machines. Other favorite exercises would be swimming or walking. Rather lift any day of the wk then do cardio :)
 
personally I like bjj and mauy tai, but i am buying a sled in a month so that will be added for some nice summer cardio.

Do you run them long distances or short sprints? I'm guessin you find a field, hook up your sled and pull that shit around short distances as fast as you can to get a HIIT feel to it

walk dont run. the resistance is all you need to have you gasping of air. i normally pull 135# .2 miles thru the grass and stuff. incredible workout. power cardio at its best.

What about running with one of those parachute lookin things on your back?
 
I'll take basketball or rollerblading over any of those boring ass machines. I hate cardio, but I need it to, so yeah, I'm using the treadmill anyway.
