Here's an idea,

Start up a completely separate website that is located offshore. Charge each member a very small fee to join (like $5.00 per year) to cover the expense of such a site. (With that small fee, I can't imagine that anyone would scoff at 5 bucks for a site that covered our plethora of postings). I think this solution could have everyone happy as clams and we can all then say to the lawyers .
