Attachments are allowed. Free stuff. Eye candy, gaming, ranting, sports, etc...Not a lot of members yet, but it's only been up for a month. :rockband:

It wasnt just one thread or one set that caused us to take down the forum (temporarily so far). You guys cannot even guess as to how many emails we receive from lawyers regarding all the copyrighted material that is posted on that forum. I personally, am just too busy with my real business to deal with removing the offending threads anymore. You guys please tell me what I get out of doing that and wasting my time.

We are looking at the situation. We are trying to see if there is a way to keep the forum up without having to have someone continually manning it and making sure that we are removing threads that lawyers are bringing to our attention. Will a solution be in place by today, the weekend or next week? I dont know. It depends on my own personal time and Im sorry if that pisses some of you off but you dont pay the server bill and you certainly dont have to spend parts of your day removing copyrighted material when some idiot is just going to re-post it the very next day because he is too dense to realize that his picture thread was removed by our Admins.

Maybe some of you will remember back months ago when I asked people not to post Linda O"Neill sets. Did all of you listen? No. So now it has come down to this. We have recieved too many compaints from lawyers and they have got in contact with our server company. Our server company has told us that they will shut us down if they recieve any more complaints, they have no choice. So do you all think that I am going to let this whole place get shut down because a bunch of people need to jerk-off tonight? Negative.

Again, we are working on it. There is no set time-frame as to when the forum will be back up and there is no 100% guarentee that I will put it back up. My apologies if you dont like what you just read but thats tough, I have to do what I have to do.

Lets all just go there. Seems like an awesome place. Then steroidology can have a faster forum for all the ppl that like to post about working out.

Then steroidology wont have to worry about what Biggie just told us.

But Biggie, all my magazine pages are stuck together. I need to XXX forum or else I will be knocked out of my routine and my muscle gains will suffer.

I lost 4 pounds already today.

Probably 9 pounds by tomorrow night

That's understandable BiggieSwolls and I fully see why it had to go now. I've, many times, wondered how alot of forums stay up with all the content they share. Good luck in finding a solution. Oh and I apologize for making a fuss a few minutes ago... the more i think of it I'm kinda ashamed I'm joining in on all this shit-talking.
 
I have tossed around many ideas, one being that I can make the XXX forum viewable by only certain members. The problem with this is that there is always one moron in the group who will post his username and password at some other forum so that other people can view the pics and then we will run the same problem that we have now because the "wrong" person is gonna get a hold of access to that forum.

I do not want to take the forum away permanently and am going to do whatever I can to bring it back but people are going to have to be patient until I can come up with an idea to "stick it to the man".

The forum is still alive and it still exists, it is just not viewable to the public.

We will do what we can.

Well, there could be a simple solution ... although this is a invision board right? ...

With phpBB boards they have Usergroups that you can create, and you can set a mod or somebody in charge that is allowed to let members in, knock them out, and whatnot. Admins of course can always do this.

Then you can set the forum to only allow people in who are in that Usergroup.

I'm not sure if they have that with these kinds of boards, but if they did ... I think that would be a great solution, since it's impossible for just a regular user to give out access to anyone.

If this isn't available I'm sure there's a mod / hack out there somewhere.

it is a sad day. all that hard work is down the drain. what will we do now. this is a real shock to the system. i came on to look at all the lovely ladies and get hard like the sad little boy i am but i was sadly disappointed. the same thing happened on Xtrememass.com thats why i looked elsewhere but this is by far the best forum for raw porn ever. please try and redeam this is legendary forum
 
I dont know it was fun while it lasted, what I do know is Ted Debiasi got knock out by Virgil, but that didn't stop ted he still ran the show so all Im saying is Biggieswolls needs to kick Virgil's ass (server company) and put that shit back up. or not just trying to give alittle motivation. anyways it was fun while it lasted

I don't know if this is possible, but you *might* be able to only allow ppl one ip address per username. Don't know if it's possible, but it could make posting your information somewhere useless. I don't know if this is possible yet. But I know you guys can view any member's ip right? Or do they have to post to view the ip?
And also like NeoPervert said, phpBB boards have usergroups and you can customize what forums certain usergroups are allowed to view.
I wish you luck with all this legal bullshit.
 
This is terrible for everyone here. Only thing we can do is sit and be patient till the admin lets us know what's going on. The other message boards on other websites suck compared to this one. Hopefully the board will be up soon.
