I am expecting lab tests back in a few days and wanted to see what is the target level for estrogen while on TRT... it started in the 40's... so I know it needs to come down and I sure it has... just not sure what level i should be shooting for... for best results out of trt.

thanks

One of my doc's told me mid 20's but I'm not too sure how accurate that is.

Estrogen is a hormone in the body of the woman is responsible for reproductive maturation, metabolic processes and the development of the fetus during pregnancy. Fluctuations in estrogen levels are normal during the menstrual cycle of women. Larger changes may be characteristic of menopause or a more serious medical condition.According Babyboom Guardian, women of childbearing age normally estrogen levels ranging from 50-400 pg / ml (picograms per milliliter), which fluctuate During your menstrual cycle.

Uhhh... I don't really think that helps for what we're talking about here.

Looking for an answer to this one too-- in my last labs, estradiol came in at 41. I read some doctor's article online that said anything above 30 and he prescribes arimidex, but my doc wouldn't without sending me to a specialist.

its real simple, you want the level of E2 that will give you really rock hard morning wood. When you wake up, it should be hard to pee.

The extra sensitive E2 lab test is great for figuring out which side of the sweet spot you are on.

I have a hard time telling by the symptoms if my E2 is high or low.

I am coming from Pre-trt having high E2 all my life, so having low E2 feels really weird.

My sweet spot for E2 is 23-25.
Everyone will have a different sweet spot.
It takes time to dial it in, just keep adjusting the dosage till you find it.
You can feel it when you find your sweet spot.

Finding the E2 sweet spot is like finding the
G-spot on 10 different women, sometimes it's difficult.

He is a male on TRT. This information does not apply to him.

This should be a simple answer, but it isn't unfortunately.

First of all, most guys seem to find the best range when on TRT to be somewhere between 20-40pg/ml. But of course everyone is different so that is just a general rule.

The issue is around how you measure your estradiol. There are different assays. Some are more accurate than others. Ideally you would get the LC/MS-MS assay. It is sometimes referred to as the Sensitive Assay. It is accurate at the lower E2 levels found in men.

There is the ECLIA Assay (aka Regular Assay) that people often get because it is cheaper and faster to get results back. But anecdotal information shows that the results are often overstated by about 10-20 points. So if you get this Assay you have to remember to subtract from the result. Also note that the higher the result, the more likely it is to be correct as the Assay is designed to detect levels found in women.

If you are new to TRT, I highly recommend the Sensitive Assay. As you get more experience you can probably get by just fine with the Regular Assay.
