Hi All,

Got my latest blood work done and my T3 total has been marked as low but my free T3 is in Range... Any ideas what's going on here?

My current Protocol is 4ml Nebido every 8 weeks, HCG M/W/F 300 IU, 50 mg thyroid medication daily and A1 .25 once or twice a week...

Last blood work at 8 weeks

Test Total= 27.5 (12-35)
Test Free= 663 (174-729)
Estridiol= 23 (<56)

TSH= 1.26 (0.35-5.5)
T4 Total= 7.6 (4.5-10.9)
T4 Free= 1.18 (0.89-1.76)
T3 Total= 79.3 (84-172)
T3 Free= 3.29 (2.3-4.2)

Are you taking T4 medication?

If so, you probably are one of those people who cannot convert T4 to T3 as efficiently as most people.

Would also suggest more blood testing.

I have OLD labs of my thyroid....
"Sensitive TSH": 1.96 MIU/L (range: 0.35-5.00 MIU/L)
"Free T4": 19 pmol/l (range: 9-23 pmol/l)

I don't know the significance of these numbers as I don't know too much about thyroid.

What thyroid medication are you taking and where are you getting it from? Just trying to understand why your TSH is so high.

Yeah are you on T4 medication?? However most docs like to see that TSH between 1-2 for optimal thyroid health, the bigger question is whether you are on any thyroid medication. As stated, there could be a conversion issue if you are.

How are you feeling? I'd recommend taking a small amount of T3 medicine along with the T4, but that is only if you have symptoms. If you do not have symptoms now, I'm sure you will have them down the road.

I have lots of energy in the gym, but I am getting mentally tired quite easily especially after lunch..
