When I eat alot of whole grain pasta and ground beef I get stronger than a mother fucker and pack on weight super fast.

My Scottish Gran's Farm food.. roast beef, thick gravy, haggis, turnips, potatoes, fresh veggies & fruit, whole butter, unpasturized milk, Scot's Oat's, maple Suyrp.

Short answer would be eat more of whatever you're eating.

This one has so many possible answers and questions that come along with those answers. In terms of food, that would be the same as what you typically eat. You would just eat more of it. So if you're doing a clean bulk you will still be eating your staples (chicken breast, turkey, lean red meats, fish, etc). Dirty bulk same concept. You would just eat more of it. Your typically bodybuilder doesn't eat something that's a secret. His menu options are the same as what you are already eating, although depending on what you're willing to spend might be higher or lower quality cuts / meat.

The other part of this would be you're training, which is the incoming questions. Are you doing too much cardio, is your rep count to high? How long have you been grinding away at it? Are you getting enough rest? Do you have a naturally high metabolism.

In the end this is one of those go to someone like 3J on here for an actual fix. The answers you will get in this thread will be foods you probably are already eating, and things you probably already thought about. Speaking with someone like 3J (doesn't necessarily have to be him) will give you a better direction and approach to handling it if you are really that serious about it. Reason being you will have someone who can monitor your progress and tweak things as you go. They can also break down exactly what you are currently doing more so than you indicated in your original post.

thanks guys! i love potatoes and pasta so that will be good, ive been eating 1lb of ground sirloin a day along with a gallon of whole milk everyday but i dont know if thats a good idea haha

You want to eat good carbs all day. Get oatmeal (mornings), brown rice, yams, wheat bread, pasta. You also want a lot of meat. IMO beef is the best, lean turkey burgers are great, chicken, salmon, etc. Initially try and get your calories from whole foods and avoid shakes. That will force you to eat more whole foods to make up for protein. Add shakes in after you can target 7-8 meals a day. Get a cassein shake or cottage cheese at night. I'd even go as far as to say wake up in the middle of the night, grab a shake and go back to bed.

say that im eating a lot but im gagging from the food that im eating, is there anything i can do to make my food not taste like cardboard?

Nothing to say here that hasn't been said, just make sure the oats you're eating are the natural stuff, none of that instant quaker oats.

In particular Steel cut oats , not rolled, steel cut are whole grain and the processing is almost nil compared to rolled. Also if our sensitive to fibre then meter out the oatmeal.. or have a binder to keep the gas cramps at bay when eating a tonne of it..

I benge dieted the beginning of this cycle. Basically eating everything in sight... literally stuffing my face every 2-3
hrs. I saw fairly quick results with Pizza, large baked potatoes filled with butter cheese and ranch dressing, spoon fulls of peanut butter, pb and j sandwhiches, and everynight after leaving the gym Id gorge myself on at least $10 worth of McDonalds burgerking or tacobell. Now this probably not the healthiest way to bulk, but I went from a scrawny 130 to a thick 160lbs in just under 2 months. Since then Ive cleaned the diet but not cut the food intake. I can proudly say Im a vascular shredded 162lb 31y/o

I like my self sweet potatoes, pasta, rice, beans.

Quick question- I see many people put down potatoes. Do people include white potatoes in their bulking diet. Are they beneficial? I was thinking of adding them to my bulk diet, but keep it around post workout since their higher GI.

Mass gainers I use two brands Peak Anabolic and ABB extreme xxl. Yes they do work, in between my meals I chug a shake.

Potatoes will def help plaster the weight on. The main thing I focused on was the constant feed bagging.Or as my good friend and mentor told me "eat until you're stuffed, then eat some more"... and my favorite "dude you need to be eating even when shitting." You know who you are big brother... couldnt have done it with out ya.

Make sure to take in as much complex carbs for weight gain. Whole wheat bread and pasta are a good source. Your muscles need fuel after a workout,so fuel up with lean protein and good carbs.

yeah i eat until i throw up im eating about 6-7 meals a day at about 800 calories a meal but im gonna eat lots of pizza and pasta then, how about the gallon of milk a day, will that help at all?

No clue... I dont do milk. I was taking in between 5 and 8k caloriess a day. 4 full meals a day and heavy snacking throughout.

One of my favorite meals are chicken egg omelets, I use tuna too, tuna stinks up the kitchen though lol of course you do have to pair it with carbs
