What's your cardio routine?

Forgive me if this has been covered recently as I am new.

Not asking for advice, just curious what you guys do to keep the fat off when it comes to cardio workouts.

Different things work for different people, but I have found that a mix of steady state cardio and interval training works best for me and i do cardio about 5 days a week because i am working on unwanted BF i've accumulated over the past couple years of being slack. My bread and butter is fast paced walking on full incline for 45 mins to an hour. Some days I will follow up 45 mins incline walking with 20 mins of sprint/walk 1 min intervals. Then other days I will just walk half a mile, run half a mile til I get worn out.

And something new I just tried the other day for the first time was doing 30 second sprints in between sets of working out. I was doing chest and arms and after doing 1 set of each lift would hop on the treadmill and sprint it out 30-45 seconds. It killed me.

Yeah, going at it hard for 30 mins def gets the heart rate up :)

I understand some of you prob don't do a lot of cardio, but my goal here is to get my BF down to where it was when I was 21-22 years old and didn't have to try to look good.
 
i feel ya, i need to cardio to get the bf down a little, im at about 15, like to get to about 10 but not too worried about it right now
 
i do 40-45 minutes hiit on either the stairmaster or elliptical. I will do 3 minutes at a pace that almost kills me and 2 minutes getting my heart rate back to normal

Sounds good. I need to get a gym membership so I'll have access to more equipment. Fortunately tho, I have a full Olympic weight set in my basement with bench, squat rack, deadlift pad, etc and a treadmill. I keep weird workout hours due to being so busy through the week so working out at home has been best lately

man i have no idea why i cant use the treadmill...i always feel like weird pain in my shins and back
 
Diet first of course to lose bf but i usually do no more than 30 to 35 minutes either on the incline treadmill or the staitionary bike thats plenty for me as i am pretty shagged tired after a good weight session workout

Thanks for the input guys. Different strokes for different folks. We have different bodies and different goals in mind, therefore, some of us do cardio and some do not.

When I was younger I could eat anything and never gain BF, but once I hit about 26-27 I started having to really watch it. Don't know if it's due to low T, overall decline in activity or what... I just know if I wanna keep things tight and looking good I must face the cardio monster.
