What's your test at after starting TRT/HRT

I am 41 years old and have no prior AS experience. I was feeling crappy, no libido, continued to lose weight except around the waste, even though I work out regularly, so about 3 months ago I went to an endocrinologist. He ran some blood work and my total test came back at 179 ng/dl. His solution was to put me on androgel with the hope of getting my total test up to around 300-350 ng/dl, which he thought was a good level. I left the office, picked up the phone and called Chip. It was the best thing I have ever done. I feel great, my libido is back full force, and I have put on 11 pounds of good weight over the past 2 months. I am noticeably thicker in my chest, shoulders and traps and my abs look better then they have in a long time. Now I actually have something to show for all of the time that I spend in the gym.

Awesome bro! That's kinda where I am too! 40 years old....work my ass off in the gym and little to show for it due to low test...Chip is gonna fix me up!

Thanks Adrian2401. I look at Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) as putting you back on an even playing field with someone whose body is producing hormones naturally as it is suppose to. Your quality of life will be much better once Chip gets you dialed in correctly.

TERPVTX HIT THE NAIL RIGHT ON THE HEAD.... GREAT WORK TERP! AS IT IS MORE AND MORE CLEAR TO SEE EVERY DAY, THE "TEAM MAXIMUS" FRATERNITY CONTINUES TO GROW DAILY! AND IT'S NOT JUST BECAUSE CHIP WADOWSKI IS GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES. ITS BECAUSE OF ALL OF YOU! WHEN MAXIMUS Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) WAS FORMED, IT WAS PROMISED THAT EVERYONE INVOLVED WITH IT WOULD BE A HUGE PART OF SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL. LOOK AROUND.... ALL YOU SEE IS MORE BLACK AND GOLD AVATARS POPPING UP EVERY DAY AND I'M DAMN PROUD TO BE A PART OF ALL OF YOUR LIVES AND THE NEW FOUND HAPPINESS THAT YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES ARE EXPERIENCING!

THANK YOU ALL FOR ALLOWING ME TO BE A PART OF IT!! :yesway:

(:bawling:)

I work with a urologist not an endocrinologist and he is very knowledgeable.

From my blood work, we worked out the protocol over the course of the last year.

Initially, it was somewhat different that what I am doing today.

do you think urologist are better than endos at HRT, or does it just depend on the doc

Depends on the physician.

Quite frankly, some physicians are not comfortable with this stuff.

My little brother is a perfect example. He is a pediatrician and has no clue about this stuff.

From what I've seen, in my area, there are more urologists who seem to be willing and able to help with this type of stuff.

That may not be true elsewhere.

If you have any issue identifying a physician in your area with whom you can work, talk to Chip. He runs a great outfit and he can save you the time and energy you may put into a fruitless search.

Did your endo recommend the

HCG 750 ius 1x per week
Aromasin 12.5 mgs daily
Proscar 1.25 mgs daily all

or did you have to convince him? I heard alot of endos don't know wtf is up
i agree,my ex endo just wants me to be in the 500 ng/dl range, with no A.I or HCG so i do i make my own decisions and do what i want to,and my GP keeps a check on all my levels and makes sure everything is ok

great thread guys, I'm in NY and have been searching for a good doc to help me out. I wasted a TON of time, money and energy going that route.

I emailed Chip last week and hope to be squared away with Maximus real soon. I just wish I had done that months ago

Just ordered an updated blood panel I'll prob do it on Wen (4 days after last injection), will post results then.
