Where do I discard my used needles?

I don't dare just simply throw them in the trash. The wrong members of my family could see what's in there.

I'll bet you I have close to 100 used 25 gauge needles from my past few cycles, and probably 30 insulin syringes from hcg.

I'm afraid to just tie them in a bag and throw them in a dumpster behind a store or something, cause with my luck the "authorities" could find it and check for fingerprints or some crazy shit.

Has anyone ran into this problem? What would you guys do if you had a large quantity of used needles that you needed to discard? Thanks bros.

syringes aren't illegal so the authorities wouldnt do anything about it

however, you really shouldn't throw pins away if they're not in a safe container. Somebody has to handle the garbage and you don't want to be responsible for them taking a hypodermic needle through the hand

personally i just tape em up in an old 5 pound whey container lol

Tape 'em up in the container, then throw them in your trash at home, or a dumpster somewhere?

Cause if at all possible. I need to avoid drawing any kind of attention to my house. If they by chance ran across them in MY trash it would raise some eyebrows as to why I'd need to many damn syringes. There's dumpsters at a business like a half a mile up the road from my house, I was thinkin about dumping them there.

Save them all, tape them into a protein or large coffee container and throw them in a random dumpster.

Yeah, I think that's pretty much my plan. And my friend who sells me the syringes, owns his own pharmacy. So he'd probably met me discard them there in his dumpster.

empty 1 liter plastic bottle and store @ the top of the closet

I store all of my stuff in lock boxes/safes in my closet. I'm just starting to get wayyy to many and it's taking up too much space so I don't have room for the stuff I need.

I've been saving them way too long, so this'll be my first time throwing away a huge collection of used syringes.

that'll work, when i had roomates that didn't know i would throw the containers in random restaurant dumpsters

go tot the gas station and chuck it in the garbage can next to the pump, they will never know who's it is, or care.

I put all of mine in official Sharps Containers but I'm not sure how to dispose of them. I heard you can bring your Sharps Containers to a local hospital for proper disposal. Has anyone done this before? LOL I would feel like a crackhead doing it but better safe than sorry I guess...

i don't remember how it works, or if its only in certain states or at certain clinics, but I've definitely heard of free disposal at medical facilities

some communities have hazardous waste disposal facilities for the public. Check the net or the phone book for one in your area and they will dispose of your sharps as long as they are in a propper sharps disposal container. They may also give you a new replacement sharps container. There are usually no questions but just make up a story about a diabetic aunt if they get nosey.
