Who are our members over 60 years of age

This is a good thread. I'm turning 40 and it's cool having experienced people to learn from.

Hopefully that pole smoker goes back to playing with his dolls.

Anon44, YOU are out of line . do you hear me. I haven't asked for the 40 year group to stand up yet. ........... Ah hahahaa just joking. :dance2: Thanks for your input

I was talking to all my elders here when I said it's cool about learning from you guys.

And talking to sexxy A.K.A. Whhya or whatever that pole smoker goes by. Thankfully he's gone for now.

Too Old?!?

So I was scared to ask this owner of a gym ( can't say who) if I am too old to work there for him. He's got all these young beautiful people and he stopped me before I got it all out. He said Nope YOUR NOT TOO OLD.

He just hired someone :( wish I had the balls to ask earlier. Wow wouldn't that be cool. I am allowed to earn some part time money. Working at a gym would do me wonders and a small paycheck at that.

:dance2: :)

:) more money for gear...ya think Ah hahaha!

Well that is the silliest statement that I have ever heard...(not really, but adds great drama). Of course you are not too old! In fact (I think), you bring more to the table with your experiences than most of the younger guys.
I tell you, everytime I see a young personal trainer pushing hard on an older client, I want to wring their necks. It takes a bit more wisdom (through our own experiences?) to know that not every success fits into yet another academic cubby hole.
Any gym owner worth his weight in salt would grab you up and coach you through whatever processes that you need to understand how to work in their systems, while still leaving you free to manage based on your own experiences.

You get to stand there and be a personal testament to your experiences by literally just standing. Because many in their 60s find even that difficult.

If I'm the oldest here do I get a prize? Perhaps a glass to put my teeth in?? Just kidding. I have all my teeth. lol. Not much to tell others really. Never used AAS, went to the gym off and on, over many years, but never really knew much about AAS and bodybuilding. In my late 50s I got fat and became a diabetic. Then I had severe symptoms, kind of similar to Alzheimers. Memory, cognition, etc. Luckily I was already retired, because I could not have held a job. Before the Low T, I was very smart with a really good head on my shoulders. I had accomplished more than most. My wife seen an Oprah show and my wife diagnosed me as lowT, as she had done with my diabetes! Been on TRT for couple years and still only 80% better. My mind is not sharp at all. Body is chubby, but I'm in the top 10% of those my age and I can outrun those half my age. I can lift with all but a couple the very best in the gym. I'm told often that I don't even look close to my age. I now take Cyp Test, HGH, HCG, D3, Zink, DHEA, Aspirin, metformin, insulin and I think I'll start CQ10. This forum has been very, very strategic to keeping me healthy and I hope to improve as time goes on.

And I was 65 in 2015. Am I the wiener, I mean winner???

awesome post all the way around. but the part in red had me laughing out loud. LOL

I dont even like to post my age because i get judged for it it seems. it seems like if your under 45 the older and young gym folk alike dont take you as seriously on help or info.
its all about research, exp and IQ points. some things you only get with some age i know that. for some it takes longer than others but the general vibe seems to be if the person is giving you advice and is younger than you then their advice is less worthy.

lets just say im too young to be posting in this thread... ha. i cant believe i said im too young for something, i already feel a bit old at times but i have more hope now with this thread and many of the older bbers still pushing! : )

now with better understanding of hormones and things that can help aging like hgh , peptides, supps and general diets; 50 is the new 30 so we are in a cool age! better than any of the past IMO!
soon we will be full of bionics/cybernetics and stuff but i wont go all sci-fi on everyone and go there lol..

Exactly!! Just because I'm 65 doesn't mean I can't out lift, and run farther and faster than those half my age. (specially with all the chubby young fellows out there these days) But to be fair when I was in my 20s, I thought anyone over 50 or 60 had one foot in the grave and was irrelevant.

Hey j_pork pretty cool post my friend. I have known for some time you keep your age to yourself. I gathered back at some juncture that I thought you to be young and didn't want your AGE to have any impact on your advice n suggestions n comments. :)
You are not to young to post on the thread. I am going down 60's...50's ...40's ...and 30's. It wasn't the plan at first but that's what it's become. But as I told someone, "YOU ARE OUT OF LINE :redhot:, because we haven't gotten to your decade. Ha haha ha!! lol just joking.
I know you from another forum and you have always had my respect because you are on point much more then not. Good info from you, very good. I have learned from you. Thanks for your input. Hang in here!

Listen man I have dentures but I don't even wear the fvcker much at all. I hate them, they hurt, uncomfortable and could never eat with them. I'm on my second pair. I gave up. Don't like the way I look then don't look ate me. I am too fvckin old to worry about it. I must be me and be comfortable physically n mentally. I am enjoying life and very comfortable with out the plastic crap in my mouth.

Listen when I was in my early 20's about Woodstock days, we used to say "Don't trust anyone over 30'" this is true we actually said that. My son is 36 and I tell you he's a good KID.
