I think I am going to start it tonight. I have a friend at work that swears by his methods / theories.
After reading the book I am skeptical, but I can't say it doesn't work because I have not tried it... kinda. It seems like I have been training the Mentzer way (intensity), but with more sets than are needed and way to frequent. The way I understand (according to Mentzer) is that even if I have developed good using the 4x a week routine with many sets per body part, I would have developed better working out every 3-4 days.
Metzer no doubt about it had a great body. What I was wondering is how much of the training talked about in the book attributed towards his bodybuilding success? How much did he improve using what he had wrote in his books?
