Several reasons my friend. 1) The high amount of protein us bodybuilders consume, can cause a hurting on the kidneys if we don't aid the refinery with water. Protein is a nutrient that tends to absorb water compared to the other nutrients.
2) Keeps blood pressure down by decreasing water retention. Dehydration can cause blood pressure spikes.
3) Help clear out kidneys and liver especially if on any oral.
4) 60 to 70% of our whole body is composed of water which means we need it!! Especially after all the sweating in the gym.

Need it to live and average folks don't drink enough so if your working out and hydrating you'll " fuck yet shit up" like fitness said.

the more water u drink the better u will look... because the more water u drink the less water your body will hold. The body is funny that way, and when we don't drink enough the body will hold onto it (water retention, bloated look)

^^ this

and you dont need 2 gallons unless your a pro bb running tons of gear or work in a sauna

a gallon is plenty, helps your kidneys flush out toxins etc

^^^^^^^^ THIS

2 gallons???

2 thing s drive my water intake.

Thirst...85 percent of my fluid intake is water.

Urine color..if it s not almost crytal clear.. I pound a 10 ounce cup.

Why risk being dehydrated and injuring yourself, or not get a good workout in because you feel like shit? Your body will let go of whatever water it doesn't need, and water is cheap so it's not like your wasting money by drinking more than you need. If your urine isn't clear, and your not going to piss every 30 or 45 minutes your not drinking enough. You should be drinking water like you eat, drink before you are thirsty and the more you drink the better. Some people say two gallons, some say one, whatever works for you just be sure to do it. I personally drink two, but I also do more cardio than most people on top of my gym routine.

Gulp Gulp..ahhhh...water ;-)

No tap water thou..pretty soon you can smell the chlorine in tap water.

RBC's are created faster then your kidneys can filter out their dead skeletons (hence stage 1 Kidney Disease).

Keeping the blood thin with water insures the best possible removal of these little bastards, eases up the load on your heart and also keeps you liver clean too.

Thanks!
