why cant i post private messages to ther members

hi.. am new here ,.. just wondering.. why i cant post any private messages to other members!?
i got a message and i would like to replay so it seems to be that am not allowed to replay or something..!
any body knows the reason?

Yes, you need to up your post count, sometimes you can pm with 50, but other times you need 70 posts.

i hate thread whoring.. but i have been trying to PM some pple for a while and cuz of low post count cant.

i think its a good rule to have on the forum but damm 50 , 70, 140 lol.. w/e it is , i think is a bit much ... i do a lot of reading here.. but not so much posting. its going to take me forever to get there..

all you have to do is contribute bro...its not that hard....it may seem like alot to you but its for the safety of the members here...if spammers and scammers are going to flood the inbox then they will have to work at it.
