why so painful all of a sudden?

I just recently got a fresh bottle of Test 400 from optimumpharma and I've pinned twice. In have pinned 100's of times BTW but these last 2 have hurt while penetrating in the skin into the muscle extremely bad and I don't understand why. And thoughts? Suggestions why so painful this time around? In the glute BTW. Thanks in advance! Also I'm using all the same instruments I've always used, no change in size of needle...

Try a fresh area, if it hurts too much when during penetration this means there is a scar tissue under the skin. Scar tissue is created after some amounts of injections to same area.
You need to leave that area alone to recover

Yes no shit right lol. I've done test 4 before with it not being that painful. Like oboy said prolly scare tissue. It does feel like its going thru rubber or something..just never been this damn painful. I guess different brands also can have a different level of of pain.

Do you pin with the same needle you draw with? I realize it shouldn't dull them as it's just rubber, but one time I had a problem doing that. The needle refused to go in. I'm sure if I had pushed harder it would have gone in, but it felt as if I was poking myself with a blunt object. Changed needle and no problem.

Also, and someone can correct me if I'm wrong but if you let a little of the product leak out when getting the air out, I've read it hurts more when you penetrate.

You know thats a good point on the leakage....I was thinking if that could be a problem. And yes I use the same needle, always have. I'm gonna play around with a few different things. I'm using a 22g and always a have. What size do you guys use?

Thats a problem. Google what happens to needles when they are oushed through the rubber stopper, they do blunt quite quickly. Always change needles. Letting a bit of oil out should cause less pain due to lubrication. I've always used 25g pins, much nicer.

I draw with a 21 and pin with a 25. Hard to press but no pain at all. A box of 100 needles and syringes is $16 so why not change.

I was really surprised at how quickly they dull. Someone posted a link once to needles. Showed fresh unused and up to 6, I think, injections. Wow. I think it was a dentist office thing where they inject and if you feel more pain they use same needle and give you more.

I have found that the delts are a good spot. Helps the rotation from glutes to ventro and delts. Since I've done this I have no paid.

The MJF and Fist for your experience s.. I know now that I bshould first change the gauge I'm injecting with. Should be a world of difference.

All very good points :
Use thinner needle
Test 400 of course can hurt a little more than Test 250
Change needle before injection
Rotate sides and dont shoot same area if its still feels hard when you touch

I sit down and rest my forearm on my thigh to relax the delts. Also i will try to workout the area injected that day, seems to help with the pip.

I wipe mine down with alcohol most times and that fcking burns, but didn't think the leaking gear would cause that, maybe you're correct. I thought it would lubricate the pin if anything for an easier jab.

I usually draw with 20-23g then pull air into to make sure I get every drop of nectar from the needle, then swap to 25g and push air out till I see none in syringe. However after numerous injections I'm sure skin and tissue get tough. I have had same issue, sometimes it still doesn't want to go in with out a fight, so my wife the nurse taught me a trick " give it a little twist" she said. The tips are slanted and twisting works just like a drill bit. No twisting once you have broken the skin! Duh! Good luck and happy pinning!
