i was wondering if u could work out 2x a day....exapmle
i was doing back and shoulders and was too tired to do biceps...can i go back later and do biceps?

maybe cardio in the morning and the training at night....theres been times in my life where I don't want to be anywhere but in the gym. most of the time you're just going to overtrain though because your body is always recovering and won't have time to recover. if your're trying to make room for another workout plan because you're not getting enough gains then maybe try to mix up the workout routine you have now

I think the key word here is he said hes too tired. Probably already doing too much in his first workout, definetly shouldnt back a second time.

ya...agree......the thing is once you injure a muscle you cannot go back.....once the bicep is torn it's months of rehab and most likely will never work the same way again.

understood..ty guys...but i believe it was from my back work out, that day i did it in high quality...which prob tired me out

you can workout twice a day.

You need to be eating and sleeping inbetween workouts

and you need to be on a moderate amount of gear and gh.

Lifting would have to be your life to make it work.

i guess. it's really more of an individual thing....some people recover slow, and some recover fast if your body can put up with the constant back and forth, in the instance that your body does recover fast....this may be plausible, nothings written down, no one's going to reprimand you for working out twice a day.

Its funny how the skinny people always think working out MORE is the answer.

Less is usually what they need.

If you are going to work out twice a day then you better be one of those people that is doing this for competition and not just recreational and wanting to look good.

REST is where you grow and Estray has it correct, less is usually what you need. I recall when I was on the H.I.T. program (High Intensity Training) in the advanced levels I was working out for 1 hour once every 4 to 6 days (full body routine) and making the best gains I have ever had (clean; no gear).

To many people think they need "hours" in the gym every day to make big gains. They think they need to work a particular muscle insanely to get them bigger and stronger. The thing is to work smart and listen to your body and make adjustments. At 40 I know I have to work out different then I did when I was in my 20's. I take longer to recover and the gains are harder; heck maintenance is harder but such is life ... though I don't like it. But I do know if I don't take the necessary rest then I will regress in my results.

Work out SMART; that is the key.
