How many of you hit the iron and suck it up even if you have a cold, migrane etc. ? I cannot mentally get past missing a workout for any reason especially when I am cycling. I see it as a waste of juice.
Personally I usually feel much better after the workout than if Id stayed home downing NyQuil.

Never train when sick. Your immune system gets worked tooooooo hard and could make you worse for longer.

im still sick i worked legs out...squated and did SLDs...

went out n drank too...im thinking that they both might've been a mistake.

i once over vitamined myself and it felt very unpleasant. I was high and fucked up. not nice...not nice..not nice..not nice

I would stay home.

Missing a workout is going to have much of an effect on you and it would be nice to keep your scummy germs to yourself and not all over the dumbells at the gym.

If you do decide to go, clean off all the shit you use with bleach and water. Most decent gyms have a spray bottle and paper towels just for this.

i am sick right now, pretty bad cold. Had a great workout today, it is in the log section. If i have a cold i train, if i have the flu or something along those lines i stay home. Getting the blood flowing always makes me feel much better.

If I have a cold/sinus thing I'll lift cause it clears it out for me.. makes me feel much better for a few hours. Any sort of fever though, I'm sleeping and drinking fluids.

I'm going through this now. This may sound wierd, but the day before I get sick I usually experience great endurance, so naturally I push it a little harder....then BAM, I'm down and out.

Seems like when I'm sick and still go to the gym it takes me longer to get well, plus if I'm really feeling like ass I dont push it as hard...
