Wrong Recipe Used for Fina Conversion?

I had made a thread about burning my conversion, but I think im ok there....

Whats worrying me more now is if I did this right anyway....

Im using pellets (crushed in a straw) and used this recipe...

1. Weigh out 10 grams of hormone into mixing vial or beaker.

2. Add benzyl alcohol , benzyl benzoate and 65.0cc of oil. (This will leave 5cc oil for later.)

3. Place on stovetop (electric stove) or frying pan (gas stove) on medium high heat.

4. Swirl and heat until soultion is completely homogeneous and clear. NO hormone "swirls" , crystals, or visible separation should be left.

5. Place 20g needle in sterile vial and attach syringe filter.

6. Place another needle through stopper to releave pressure

7. Draw out hormone solution with 5 or 10cc syringe and run it through the syringe filter until all solution is filtered.

8. Run the addition 5cc of saved oil from step 2 through syringe filter to purge.

This conversion results in 100ml - 100mg/ml sterile solution for injection.

Is this ok to use for pellets? I added the BA, BB, and Oil all together into the crushed pellets then cooked it on the stove over medium heat.

Should I have used a different solvent to dissolve the pellets? It looks ok besides the little bit of black stuff at the bottom. I didnt notice the black stuff till I finally decided to stir it because swirling it did nothing....

I tried filtering it through a .45 but after about 30mins of only getting about 2ml i gave up. What I did get looks nice and yellow, but im not so sure I did it right and if its usable....The beaker is just sitting in my closet covered up waiting to filter or trash

Did you add the entire pellet or did you weigh out 10g of the crushed pellets as per the recipe?

No two ways about it. You did not do the conversion right and right now, your brew has something in it that you don't want. This is the stuff that is clogging your filter immediately. What I'm not sure about is if you can use a coffee filter to get that stuff out (the pellet bonding stuff).

That stuff was the pellts binders and fillers. You need to let that shit settle before you draw the clear good stuff off the top of it and you need to discard the gunk afterwards....sounds like you tried to filter it all. COnverting pellets is harder than powder and you need to follow a different protocal

Is it ok if i didnt let it disolve before i heated it? and is it ok if i mixed the oil in with it right before i heated it? Next time ill buy a kit and do it per the kits instructions......

and your right I didnt let it settle after heating it.....should i coffee filter the whole batch and let that settle? or should i filter off the top and coffee filter the gunk?

researchology has some decent kits you can use next time. If you need help with it just ask BEFORE you do it

What about the questions I just asked? Im trying to save this batch if I can...Ive still got almost 100ml im my closet covered up and id hate to trash it if i dont have to.....

You can attempt to make use of it, but the problem is that even if things go well, you won't be sure if the finished product still contains bonders or not.

If you want to try and salvage it, then put what you have through a coffee filter and then filter it though a .45.

Listen, hopefully you saved it all. Mix it all back up, add some heat and stir till its nice and hot (but not scalding) and then let it sit for 24 hours. The gunk will separate and the oil will be sitting on top. Draw this oil off and filter it with a new filter into a new vial. You can also filter the oil still trapped in the gunk but its such a hastle to get the last couple ml's that my vote goes to just tossing it.

Did you read his other thread? The gunk (or something) turned black. He's already mixed his pellets in oil+BB+BA and heated and since that was a few days back, I guess he's already let it sit.

Its usually pretty dark brownish if I remember correctly, not black though. If it burnt it might stuill be ok because id suspect the binders and shit would burn before the hormone would.
