First off, big thanks to Lukehayd & the crew over @ IronFlex. I'm just finishing up a bottle of their form & that stuff rocks, so I'm pretty sure that this Quake will be equally as good in the preworkout arena.

I took my first dose this morning in a glass of ice cold water. Talk about great stuff so far! The flavor is fruit punch & the taste is a very light, refreshing fruit punch. Not that sweet, or tart stuff like others. It also mixes VERY easy. I just swirled around my cup a few times & it was completely mixed!

About 15 minutes after drinking it, I was folding towels, it started kicking in! I started warming up and feeling those tingles. I left a few minutes after that, & by the time I walked into the gym, the focus was off the charts!! I went in for a chest workout this morning with one goal on my mind - 100lb db's..

After a couple warmup sets, I was dialed in & filling up w/ blood all over. The pump was getting intense! After knocking out a set of 10 w/ the 80's, I got 10 more w/ the 90's. This was gonna be the day! I knew I had those 100's in me!

Sure as shit! I knocked out 2 sets of 5 with the 100's!!! I couldn't believe it!!! I've always stopped at the 80's..

You already had the 100s, you just needed the kick in the shorts to go for it! Lol! Good to see you like it so far. It should get better. ;)
 
Shit's awesome so far! I stayed wide the f open all day long!!! Hoping to hit back or shoulders tomorrow morning before giving all the thanks to the lord or God!!
 
Quake - day 3

Had a pretty good weekend, not having to work too much overtime! Saturday’s pr still has me feeling pretty stoked! I was gonna hit shoulders yesterday, but slept in & then had to work at the father in laws shop for a few hours. The rest of the day was spent relaxing w / the family.

Got up this morning feeling well rested & ready to hit it. I was out the door by 3:45 & on the road running. I got in 3 miles in 30 minute's, leaving me time to get into the gym for a quick back workout.

I drove to the gym & walked in soaking wet! One of the guys there kinda looked at me funny. I still had plenty of energy and by the time I finished my workout, I was feeling like a friggin cobra! Lol. No pr’s this morning, but I still felt great all the way through. This stuff is giving me some incredible energy!

I'll probably skip the cardio tomorrow and just hit arms.
 
Quakes a pretty sweet PWO. May grab it next and play with doses. It felt like I needed a second scoop but one was still a nice day. Ironflex has some sexy ass supps in their line.
 
Been a crazy busy day today. Hitting the sack.

Ran 3 miles this morning. Getting up @ 3am (less than 3 fucking hours from now) to hit shoulders..

Might take 1.5 scoops to wake my ass up!
 
Quake - Day 6

PR on the db shrugs!! Pulled the 95's for 2x6 STRICT reps!!

I woke up this morning, pissed, because it was about 10 minutes before my alarm went off.. On top of that, I seemed to wake up every hour, on the hour last night.. WTF!??

Sure enough, I needed 1.5 scoops!! Looking back, I could have easily handled 2 full scoops! I was in the gym yawning & kind of dragging.. I could've tried sleeping till 4:30 & going to work, but I wasn't sleeping good anyway.

My military presses felt good. I worked up to the 60s' but wasn't getting enough reps, so I backed down to the 50's for good reps with good form.

The lateral moves were a joke.. The tendonitis in my left forearm is really weird.. I could only go up to the 15's for laterals before the arm started to hurt. Why is it I can pull 95lb dbells, but can't friggin lateral a 25 pounder?

All in all, despite being tired, I had a pretty good workout with some solid pumps. My traps are nice & tight right now, and my delts seem to have a pretty good fullness to them tonight.

Jogging tomorrow morning. I'd like to see if I can get back up to 5 miles. We'll see..
 
Lol, only got 3 miles in. However, I friggin ran like the wind!! First 2 miles were around 8.5 min mile pace. The 3rd was closer to 10.

I hit chest yesterday. Worked with the bar this time. Had a great workout, despite getting off work that morning. Worked out with 200lbs & got in some good strict reps.

Running again today, but arms tomorrow morning. Might get some progress pics then. Really loving the pumps & energy so far.
 
There's such a wide spectrum in the category of PREs that finding one that works how you want it to can be tricky. I really think Quake hit it on the nose for my taste. I do however have those days where I really want the "smash my head through the wall" rage energy and so I keep a different pre for that.
 
Sorry for the lack of updates. Had a busy weekend at work, and that had me sleeping more than normal during the days when I was home.

Got off shift yesterday & hit arms. A friend suggested a different arm workout for me, so I figured, what the hell, why not? He calls it shock & awe.. Basically, hitting each exercise for about 8 sets, all to failure. Definitely different from what I normally do, but it was fun to try something different. It definitely taxed me in more ways than one! I had a little mental fatigue after the session too! I pushed myself harder than I have in quite some time!

I shocked the muscles big time by going to extreme failure - basically forced reps w/out the help of a spotter. The awe came later in the day w/ the muscles still feeling full & pumped! lol..

Today was supposed to be a running day, but I went to the brother in laws house to visit yesterday. He had an adjustable backboard/rim, so we decided to lower it a little & have a dunk contest... I probably should've warmed up first.. The tendons above both knees are beyond sore right now!!! No way I'm running. I took my quake & in just a bit, I'll be going in to hit shoulders instead.. lol.. Sucks getting old!!
 
Oh, notice the nice burn I acquired on my inner forearm the other night at work! The blister finally popped.. Slathered in Neosporin..
 
Yeah, it f'ing sucks..

Off day today. Gonna get up @ 3 tomorrow morning & maybe hit chest & 3 miles on treadmill..
 
OK, I didn't get to update last night.

Like I said yesterday though, I got back to the 100's for my chest workout. This time, I only got 2 sets of 4, but I went much deeper and got a very nice squeeze at the top. After that, I hit the incline, and got up to the 70's for a couple sets of 10 with nice, slow form. The pump was crazy by then. I finished off w/ some cable cross overs and wore my pecs out! I always finish my chest workout by seeing how many pushups I can get. I know I did good when I can only get about 5-10 before collapsing to the floor. Yesterday was no exception. I got 3... This morning, I got up nice & early and went for a 3.5 mile jog. Felt good, but missing the weights.. LOL. I might try & sneek in to get a shoulder workout or something today. Or, just take it easy on my day off & hit them hard tomorrow morning.
