Even after being stagnant as hell for ~7 months for reasons that'd take too long to discuss, I put up 375x2 on a decline right before Xmas this past year. I'm down considerably now, due solely to lack of sleep (think 3.5-4 hrs/night for 3-4 months, excepting a very few weekends), probably only be able to put up 325 or so.

A 300 bench in hs is not exceptional, a 400 bench in college is not exceptional, they are very good lifts, but not exceptional. I had many D1 college football friends, who never did gear, i know that amazes people but i fucking lived with them. The thing is you might as well use gear, because if you are strong people will never beleive it anyway, because it is the only thing that can make them feel better about their shortcomings. This isn't necessarily pointed at you, but the net as a whole.
