i have to agree with Mo's post about football players..
i benched 315 as a junior in HS..yeah it was ugly but it was down to the chest and grinded out real hard.. i genreally never maxed but would work up to 275 by however many i could do (3-6 depending on the day)..then dbell presses with 90's or 100's..hell i even squatted 315..i worked out weith most of the football team mostly the Post grad guys a few went D-I as well and ive had numerous people drafted from my team into the NHL

my point is i think it is very possible for people/teens to be able to bench a lot without gear..

Big traps youve got a good bench keep up the work..pay no attention to the negativity..hell there are very few who bench 315 correctly in my gym..we got one guy who everyone cheers who does 365 for 2 with imaginary boards (4brd) underneath lol

Come on bros! This is an awesome education. I really never realized there was such a disparity between the haves and have nots. To me this is an incredible thread! I don't think my other point was well understood, if someone gets to 400 naturally folks are saying that dude could probably never double his strength on. Where as some one like me that did seriously lift for years and was still stuck at around 160 probably could double his bench. so percentage wise I would close the gap a little with a naturally gifted dude.

I am glad to see no one questioned how bad off I was as a natural lifter. I was expecting someone that had far better genetics to say "You had to be doing something wrong, no one could do things right and stay that weak". So a I am glad we are at page two and I haven't gotten that yet.

I do believe the honesty of the gifted dudes and I am jelious as hell, lol. :shoot2:
 
Where do u work out at?? Theres gotta be bigger guys then that!! When I was a senior in HS(1st yr. i actually lifted, except for bails and shit on the farm) I was benching 255lbs. All nat. 2. Now, 5 yrs later I'm benching 350lbs (1rm) on flat bench. As far as supplements, I've taken creatine, hmb, protein, Poplars andro. DOn't know if thats considered natural enough, but to me it is. Oh, I also just came off an m1t cycle not that long ago. Before I used m1t I benched 310lbs on flat bench(1rm)-natural. Thats the 1st and only time ive used m1t and have never done anything I haven't mentioned. The m1t i only used once.
 
I've seen a ton of cock strong dudes (natural) with short arms and barell chest throw up 3 plates plus benches. that ain't shit. Dog, you are a pussy if you throw up 160 any place I have ever lifted. that is not even a big wheel and a 25 on each side.

Thanks! I probably wasn't suppose too, but I did LMAO at your bold comments. That was over 20 years ago before gyms existed, lol. I did work out at home then, it was a 25lb bar, 2 vynal 25lb plates, a 5 ana a 2.5 on each side for workouts. I did the max in of 160 in the weight room at college a few years earlier I finally remembered on a machine. Most of us maxed out at between 160 & 180, and the ones that got up over 200 had everyone in shock. That was like 1975, and I admit most were not serious lifters, a few former high shool football players though.

The current gym is Ballies, I am not natural anymore, I work out with between 245 & 260, and that is very typical there. Like I said, when someone puts on 3 plates everyone looks to see how many times they can rep it. Only saw 2 dudes ever do 4 plates there. I don't have any idea how many juice of course, I always guessed most of them.

I started on andro 6 years back, that was my intro to "chemical enhancement", after reading about MacGuire in fact. That did get me up to repping with 180, took 2 years though. The stuff is slow and won't get you too far, but it is not totally useless.

OK i am going to a meet tomorrow in sc. there are three teens from my old gym benching. all are in the 11th grade and all bench over 3 raw. they close to 4 with shirts.

one guys competes in the 181s, the other 2 in the 220s.

diso just cause your bench sucks dont mean everyone's does.

get a grip son. why call the man a lier and you dont even know him.

but i gave three valid examples so am i lying too?

I went to a geeky ass high school and we had lots of guys in the mid 200s that lifted regularly. We didn't have a lot of 305-330+ guys but we had some.

We had one short dude who was very lean, and huge - like mini Arnold huge, the most diciplined person I had ever known (could solo on the guitar like Alex Scholnick and had 2 jobs in the summer). I never knew what he could lift because he always did everything slowly and light, i.e. piss slow 45# dumbell curls. He was definitely juiced though.
 
I think a better thread would be, "Pictures of Me Benching". That way there would be no accusations of people lying. I will post mine soon. :))
 
I've got a video of me doing 4 plates last October, but I wasn't natural. How you are going to prove being natural in a video I'd be curious about, since thats what this thread was about.

my son could deadlift over 500 at that age but his bench was around 220 or say , i cant remember for sure and he was a little over 200 pounds body weight .
 
It is sad how low the bar is dropped on natural trainees. Personally I'm on my second cycle and I was bigger and leaner and benching more than I am now when I was 18. I got all fucked up in the time between, but whatever. I'm squatting and deading a LOT more right now though.

There are some incredibly strong naturals out there, they put my ass to shame. If I was a dumbshit that thought steroids were magic potion, I would be too ashamed to even go to the gym, lol.
