Your Favorite Acne Treatment?

I recently started getting bacne. It's not on my face at all. Just back and shoulders, started a few months ago and I can't friggin get rid of it. It's starting to get real bad, and I just started a cycle so now I'm worried It's gonna get even worse.
I'v tried tanning, and while it helps for a day or two, it just starts all over again after a few days.
Does any one have any suggestions besides accutane. Thats a last resort to me, but I will be willing to use it if I can't get this under control.
Has anyone had luck with proactive. I'm going to wal-mart, and I'm gonna buy every damn product they got, and use them all..lol

I use Neutrogena facial bar on my back and shoulders. This helps alot. you have to use everyday. it will dry out your skin where you use it that is what it does to clean your skin.

better to use less product, otherwise you risk irritation. Just shower twice a day and go tanning eod.

You also might find that now going on cycle your acne may subside - alot of people only get acne post cycle.

that was me last cycle. once i started PCT, the shit flared up like crazy! what helped for me was going to the beach several times a week (i live 20min from gulf of mexico.) a combination of salt water and the sun cured my problems!

wish I could go to the beach, unfortunatly there's a foot of snow outside my door. hah
I actually just got back from Florida and caught some sun down there, but as soon as I came back BANG! it flared up immediatly.
Seems like sun is only a very temporary fix

blah blah blah, its last resort, you need to be monitored while on it, could cause depression

i know all that has been said about it, one thing is for sure, the stuff is awsome and DOES work 9-10 times on the first try, i had really bad acne so i had 3 runs with it, but now i just get a big red zit here and there on my back, where as before i was a fucking sausage/pep pizza

I was prescribed Accutane a few years ago, it definitely works but the sides suck! Lips so chapped when I would open my mouth to take a bite to eat they would just bleed, blood stains on my sandwich! Ha. You do have to be monitored and you can't eat shit! They gave me a list of what not to eat, pretty much everything but lettuce, I lost 20 lbs in a month with no exercise. And you can't cheat on the diet because they will know. It is very expensive if you don't have insurance to cover it. Like whoever said above, LAST RESORT!

I've taken Septra, which according to my dermatologist is one of the strongest 'script meds short of taking accutane

seems pretty effective

i take 20mg of isotrtoine EOD along with my test cycle, the last one i did was 16W and not 1 zip on my skin.I felt a little bit down in pct. I´m starting a new cycle now in April, am i will not rum Isotr. to see if the acne don´t attack, but if it does i will take it again.
