1st Ever Cycle...

Hi,
Im Ash, 30, from the UK.

I've been training on and off for the last 3 years or so. However I have only ever followed advice from friends who I always thought knew what they were talking about, coz of the amount of time they spent at the gym! How wrong woz I...!!??

While borred at work, I decided to read up on training, science behind muscle growth etc, and realised how many years I had wasted!!

Anyway to cut a very long story short, its only been around 6 - 8 months since I have been training 'properly'. I eat very clean 6-8 meals a day, including supplements. Train a 4 day split... and spend around 1-2 hrs max at the gym...

My last week at the gym consisted off...
deadlift is 210kg for 3 reps
Squats = 155 kgs, 3 sets of 6-8 reps
Bench = 100kg
straight bar bicep curls = 50kgs
shoulder press = 75kgs

(I must stress, form on all my exercises is spot on!! I really don't care what other guys are pushing, I concentrate solely on my own form, hence low bench and shoulder presses as I have just recently perfected the form).

I'm 5ft11 and weigh in at around 220lbs. I am far from lean, but am only bothered with mass at the moment, and will deal with the cutting and losing weight at end of year/beginning of next.

I always thought that I'd never go into the steroid game till my body stopped growing naturally... unfortuatley curiosity has got the better of me... :)

After spending weeks and weeks looking into the various cycles, I have decided on Sust and Deca, ( I know very old, but old is gold), also low side effects reported...

The gym I am a member of, a very well known gym in Berkshire, UK will provide me with all the info I need on the cycle, including PCT, but I''d like to research myself.

I need advice form you guys on the amount I should do weekly...
I'm confused with the mg/cc/ml etc...
I've ordered a set of 21g needles (for loading) and a mixture of 23 -25g;
The length of needles I've gone for are 1" for delts and 1.5" for glutes, but I'm not sure if I should inject in the behind or go for the shoulder, what are the pros and cons for each.

Sorry for the essay, but I thought I'd provide as much info as possible.

You should really take a look at the new members section.

When you ask "what should I take for my cycle?" you are going to get the same answer from all of us no matter how many "buts" you throw at us. Their are very simple reasons why test is recommended for a first cycle so i am not going to bore you with anything complicated.

THE MAIN REASON I recommend test as a first cycle is that it is, and should be the building block of all future cycles. So you better know how you react to it. You need to know if you are gyno prone, how much water you are going to retain, how much will it raise your blood pressure, you need to learn how to combat there problems, and how to take steps to eliminate them in the future.

Another reason you should not stack drugs the first time is that you are not going to know how you react to certain drugs, which one is producing the best gains, and which one is causing the sides. Here is an example, lets say for a first cycle you stack deca and test, you get gyno, how the hell do you know what is causing it. Some people will assume it is the test and run deca again, but this time they will be well prepared for gyno brought on from test, but guess what, it is the deca causing it. Now you have d cups and are making an appointment to have your tits cut out. Another example, Needsize says he doesn't make great gains off test, so he has limited his test doses while using drugs he knows react well for him. How the hell is he going to know this if his first cycle was pot luck of different drugs.

And goddammit test is not a dirty word, for some reason alot of guys in the gym are afraid of test, it is a strong androgen, but the sides are very easily controlled for all but a few with a few simple drugs.

Maybe not the most important from a bodybuilding standpoint, but remember, if you take any steroids, you are going to shut your natural test production down, this can lead to impotence, and deca and tren are not the only ones that can cause this, any drug can, when not accompanied by test. Deca and tren are just the biggest offenders.
 
I agree with Jack. Test only. I've been off gear for about 10 years. I'm a hard gainer. Lost about 10-15 pounds from not lifting do to back issues. Hit the gym again and plateaued quickly. Gained 20 pounds back in 6 weeks of 500mg of test per week and using liquidex for estrogen control and still have 4 weeks to go. No need to combine things in my opinion until it's necesary.

After careful consideration and loads more research I have decided to go with Test E for my 1st cycle.
Does 500mg a week sound right for 10 weeks? Should I add D-Bol to it for 1 st few weeks?
When is it ideal to start PCT, straight after or as it is slow Ester, coupla weeks after?
PCT wise, Nolvadex, Clomid, HCG or all 3?

500mg ew is perfect for a first cycle... or fifth for that matter. 10 weeks is good too. I would just stick with one compund for your first one, save dbol for your second cycle. PCT should be start 14 days after last injection. I'd suggest Nolva 40/40/20/20 for post cycle therapy (pct). HCG is always good to have, if you choose to run it start at week 3 and run up until your last injection of test. 250IU's twice per week would be fine. You could get away with not using it as well, just say bye bye to the boys for a bit.
