200mg every 11-12 days

Had a little forward progress today. I want to get the doc to request weekly injects but he so far has declined. So, when I spoke to the nurse giving me my shot today, I asked if it was critical to show up on the 14/15th day for each injection. She said no! When scheduling, she said to just request the day I want but she would need approval for anything sooner than 11-12 days. Honestly, I know weekly is probably better but I think that this is going to work for me.

Just passing this back-door tip along to any others that a struggling with getting weekly injections. Ask the nurse!

12 days between injects??! This is why I fought tooth and nail to self-inject so I could do it as I see fit, not someone that's still getting advice from a 30 year old textbook. Are you feeling the rollercoaster effects yet?

Feel great....feel good....feel alright....feel ok....feel like shit....feel great...feel good....feel alright...et cetera.

You should seriously think about learning how to self-inject and asking to do it in the privacy of your own home. I don't know if your insurance covers back-office visits, but I know I was paying $30 bucks every time I had to have a nurse pin for me - complete waste of money and time. You'll feel better too if you can get in 2x a week.

My .02c :)

Is it really that different? Right now I feel the test trail off around day 11 or 12. That is why I'm thinking this will be a good change.

You will notice the difference if you increase the frequency of your injections. Less of a roller coaster and less aromitisation.

Im with halfwit on this one. Every 11-12 days is just not often enough. i take 250mgs twice a week and then some.

Well, I'll see what he says at the next appointment. I think I'd like to get on your program for 12 weeks a couple times a year!

You don't need to ask your doctor for permission or his opinion to inject more frequently. Just do the math to get your dose right for whatever you decide to increase the frequency too. The only downside is the inconvenience of having to inject more often. Think about it -- they would put you on an IV drip if it was practicle. But that wouldn't work for most people's lifestyles.

What type of esther are you getting with your protocol? If it's cypionate or enanthate you will most defintely have a roller coaster ride. They both have halflives of about 5 to 6 days. That puts you at zero active after 14 days. If you are getting some type of compound ester then you may get 20 days out of Undecanoate but I have not heard of many docs using this.

How do you come up with 0%? If you use the five day half life assumption wouldn't it be about 12.5% remaining? Am I doing this wrong? Doesn't it keep halving?

I had the nurse give the first and then I have done my own sense then. Get over the fear and just do it yourself and save money.

I also don't understand the halflive of cypionate and how this works, could you explain? i have been on test for about a year and a half now

Fear is not the issue for me, it's the doc. When I got my first injection, I asked if I was going to have to go to his office every two weeks for the rest of my life. He said, well, not if your wife is a nurse. If she is a nurse, I can let you do these at home...

So, I'm not sure if this doc will let me. I may have to find a new one at some point. What a pain in the ass...

Just tell him you want to do them yourself. More convenient. Cheaper. Etc. Or tell him you will be forced to find a new doctor that is reasonable. It is VERY easy to self-inject.

500 mg per week will cause a lot of side effects and most likely long term health issues. Yes, I was wrong by stating the blood serum level would be 0%, if would keep cutting in half as per the halflife. But 14 days would be one heck of a roller coaster for the Cypionate ester.

Undeconate is a longer ester. I think it is 20+ days. But I have not heard of many doctors prescribing it. Someone asked above about what it is.
