22 g pin and scar tissue?

I am on hrt and I was wondering if a 22 guage needle will
give you built up scar tissue over time? I inject glutes only once
a week and I alternate sides.

A 22 guage won't be much worse than any other guage in terms of scar tissue. You'll likely have some build up but it won't be too bad it you are only injecting once per week.

But why use a 22G when you can use a 25G?

I like 22's as well. Goes in real smooth. I feel with 25's it takes for ever to get the plunger going.

I agree...just run the syringe (with the medicine in it) under hot water for a minute or two if you have a hard time getting the medicine through the pin....

But don't expose the pin to the water, of course as that would make the pin unsterile.

thats what I was going to say, I use 25g for everything, and they are almost always full at 3cc, goes in easy once I heat it under some hot water

leave the cap on and put it under hot water to heat it up and it goes in smoother...or use a blow drier..
