22 yr old 20.5 free testosterone....thyroid issues? -Tired of being tired

have you ever had any issue with depersonalization?

No, i don't think so... once i tried to relate with the symptoms, but didn't go... i only feel cut from the reality when i have tremendous brain fog-usually after a heavy meal...i am trying the vegetarian route now...

i had high glucose levels so my doc wants to check for liver/kidney issues--i pray its not

-Could it have to do with my elevated cortisol levels+ a large pasta dinner/excessive fruit intake the night prior?
-Should i stop eating around 5 the day before? i think i may of had/have insulin resistance?

abefore my diet change i was eating a absolutely crazy amount of apples each day,, im talking 2-3+ lbs (i have since stopped such excessive behavior lol)

typical daily diet. these are random example meals as i would always made sure to hit my daily macros, though i did always start and end my day with the oats

Breakfast
160g whole oats, 400g apples, 60ml sugar free syrup+some milk...maybe some egg whites

SNACKS
eggs w/ avacodo apples/strawberries,, natural jams

lunch
12oz pork loin with 400g brocolii/cabbage +tomatoes ...etc
4pm meal
chicken breast with veggies and apples...again.
some sort of high fiber high protein meal

dinner 160 g oats +apples and maybe some sort of healthy dessert..rubarb etc... and a protein source

Your blood work indicates potential kidney and pancreas issues. I would keep an eye on it and stop doing such extreme diets. Do you get OCD about aspects of your diet and overdo them?

Next time you go in for labs make sure you are well hydrated and fasted for 12 hours. You may want to check your HBA1c as well.

glad you noticed megatron,,, i have been often been told that i dive into things with a certain fever be it dietary or vocation, its something that i am learning to tame.

I wouldn't worry about your hemoglobin, hematocrit, etc.

Try to turn off the OCD. It is going to consume you.

will try, the idea of feeling better is invigorating, and extremely thought consuming but i know that progress isnt and shouldnt be a quick stop short term thing.

thansk for all the constant and continual advice, i imagine it must tiresome dealing with guys demanding immediate answers for some unkown problem... the help is much aprreciated

But your results are pointing towards Secondary Hypogonadism. .

a few years ago i had gotten kneed in the testes (lol on accident) they hurt for a week or so but my old doc said it said nothing.
currently they have little to no sensation to touch, i could squeeze them without any pain, and they measure less the 1.5 inches in length?? any ideas?

i also got in a bicycling crash and smashed them up nicely but there was oddly very little sensation. just food for thought, i might send my primary an email telling him about this

If making lifestyle changes over a two week period has a dramatic effect on your blood work results, that would be very useful information. It would indicate that something about your current lifestyle is causing your hypogonadism. I would let I play out. Your goal should be to avoid TRT if possible. TRT will be there for you if you need it, but at your age try to find and fix the underlying cause.

Completely agree here. Keep up on trying to get healthy and then getting blood work. and accept fact you will likely need to find another doc because this one might not cut it.

Could be stress related that your SHBG has risen, decreasing your testosteron.. Well why would it do that?

As testosteron gets lower, you settle down easier, you become less active, and in some ways give you time to fix what ever is bothering you! It is likewise contraversy to give TRT for 60-80 due to a lowering of testosteron... Its a part of life that T falls and we become more accepting to life, slow, and just feel that its more about pleasure rather then achieving something through massive work, competition and fights.. Most elderly like to walk in the forrest, watch tv, go in the garden and fish... You get what i am saying

There is always a reason why the body act, and i would recommend you to sort out everything in your life! Go on a super healthy diet, workout modertly, and be possitive! - TRT is no fun, the ups and downs, the bloodwork, and so on... its lifetime needling

give it a go and draw new blood to see where ya at! Aint nothing more beautifull then a body that actually works. Imo alot of guys are on TRT and should not be, there is no link to hypogondanism through increased/decreased lh/fsh but could rather be due to life style, shitty diet with alot of chemicals "USA style" and a quest to become huge with a massive intake of dirty supplements.

1-3months then draw new blood.. best luck

my life growing up was generally a very stressful one.
i dont eat any processed foods except when i indulge in sugar free Lipton teas /drink mixes.
concerning working out, over the past 2 year i have lost a ridiculous amount of strength and size im weaker now at 22 then when i was 17-18 and hold water/fat in my mid section in a ridiculous amount.
people used to comment on my "gains" muscularity/vascularity striations..etc now im that lanky gaunt kid who thinks he is a powerlifter.. ill admit its very de-moralizing experience
weird thing is, i used to eat garbage, do excessive cardio, and stay up all night. but i was still normal

my family has a history of diabetes and anemia/fibromialga / heavy infertility issues, obesity, anxiety and depression, muscular and bone density problems
i exercise regularly, make sure to get some sun everyday, i dont watch television, no alcohol or drugs of any kind - not to sound defeatist(because i am not), but i feel genetically predisposed to ailments and am looking for something to help low testosterone seems to be a general common denominator/precursor to my symptoms over the past several years, and some days i feel like it jsut wont get better
