25 gauge darts suck

just thought I would mention to anyone thinking of going to a 25gauge from a 23. don't! for the second time in two weeks a plunger has bent at the handle just trying to shoot test mixed with some deca. now I know I might find the 25 a little slower than the 23 but I wasn't pushing that hard, and it takes all fucking day. I don't blame the plunger, the oil just couldn't travel through fast enough.

broke one pin off when it happened, but luckily was able to pull the fucker out with a pair of tweasers. sore is not the word. end of rant.....lol

I use 25g all the time and never have problems. are you steady with your hands and are you using good quality pins?

I'm sure glad you posted that. I use 23g now but was thinking of getting 25g in my next order. I think ill just stick with 23g!

Fuck 25 gauge, its all about the 18g 2 inches!

Haha you laugh but my first cycle was test200 with 18ga 2" pins from the local feed store. We had cows and had a few extra pins in the barn. I was young and didnt know any better but beleive me I know better now!!!!!!:spin:

25 inchers suck period, to fuckin slow, stick with the 22's or 23's bro
and to break the needle off lol, thats a horror story that noone wants!

I've used 25 gauge for 10 years, I've also use 28,29,and 30 guage slin pins for oils.

25 work just fine. You are either pinning into scar tissue or a bad spot. I can easily pin 3 ml thru a 25. I haven't touched a 22 or 23 in years. No need.

Every pin has a purpose. 23g 1.5in is perfect for glutes. 25g 1inch is the way to go for quads. Less scar tissue, easier to get through dense quad muscle. Just warm up your oil to body temp.... It slides right in.

^^^Agree. If you have good needles/syringe you shouldn't be having that problem. If you have good gear you dont even have to go that slow with a 25g. Like user, i use slin pins for delts/pecs/other really lean areas, and I have no problem getting my gear through a 29g. Yes it's alittle slower, but still not that slow. Besides, going slow is never a bad thing, gives the oil time to spread out, which helps if you are shooting more than a ml or so.

yeah I think you guys are probably right about the scar tissue. I'm using the pins and supplies most or all Pharms seem to carry. must be the gear as well, thicker oil maybe. I only pin glutes so the 23g are perfect, but as a few of you may have read in some of my other posts I have pinned 18 gauge, which I normally use for drawing, when I've run out of 23. aren't those fuckers lovely?......lol that must be what it feels like to get hit with an elephant tranquilizer dart.....lol by the way, if I pin quads, and have many times, it's like someone is kneeing me in the thigh for about a week....
the pharmacies here in Canada are a little difficult sometimes until they see the veins coming out of your neck and forehead.

the test and deca blend that I bent the plunger on must have been thick oil, cause it was taking forever. I'm not that impatient, so I wasn't rushing and my hands are steady, been at it for a few years. thing is, they were out of 23g that was the only reason I got the 25g.......lol. oh well.
