Heres my routine MOnday- back/bis tues-chest/shoulders/tris thurs or fri-legs
Thinking of changing it to Mon- back tues- chest/shouders thurs-legs fri-bi's/tris
Would this be overtraining?? Reason being, with the 3 day split, by the time i get to arms, really have no energy left. So if i hit bis'/tris indirectly on mon and tues, it should be ok to hit them directly on friday right??

dont revolve your training around "arms"
the quickest way to make sure the DONT grow is to worry about them and do 10-20 sets of some isolation work..

you may be better of doing them more frequently with less volume

So u'd advise sticking w/the 3 day split?? Or doing just a few sets for bis/tris on their own day??
If the 4 day isn't the best...i'm considering mon-chest/shoulders/bis tues-legs thurs or fri-back/tri's WOuld that be a better 3 day split??

I'm not really worried about them so to speak, just the past SEVERAL months i have hardly even been training them. By the time u get down w/a good back workout or chest workout theres really not hardly any energy left for and direct arm work(curls, skulls, etc.). So was thinking maybe i wasn't doing enough to get the maximum amount of growth. So thought if i started hitting them on their own day they might grow more.
Plus just started to bulk up again and took my measurements.....i'm down about 1 inch from where i was in Feb. of this yr. in arm size. It SUX. But suppose my waiste and everything went down some 2.

the reason the energy is gone after core movements is cause the bis and tris getting hammered during those movements. i dont care what anybody says heavy rows is as direct as you get bi work just as heavy bench is dirct as you get tri work.

if you cant add one working set of bis after back that should be an indicator thats its working. same for tris.

however if you must then give it a shot and see what happens. watch out for sore elbows and make sure you dont over do it. it may work for you or it may not. only one way to find out.

YEah, i've had sore elbows before 2. Not lately though. I might try arms their own day since i'm on cycle now. SHould recover a bit faster, but will slow back down if i notice pain/discomfort or lack in gains.
