4 weeks in.. advice?

Exactly. And stay off the scale man. You can totally transform your body and not gain a pound the whole time. And I would add more than almonds to your diet. If the weight is that important then u need to eat anything and everything u can. If u get you get a little extra fat don't worry about it until your cycle is done because the more weight u put on the stronger u will get. Good luck and stay focused.

great advice....stay off the scales and concentrate on your workout and diet, the more you eat,the bigger you will be

For me - my big ah ha moment was around weeks 7.

A slow builds - then like DET says - reps go up and the size was a big difference. :)

Just updating. A week later and im at 208. Pumps have started getting incredible, i'm starting to notice strength gains. I guess upping the cals worked. I've been sticking with 4000, with a 193/352/223 split. Starting to gain a little fat around my midsection, kinda upsetting, but hey, if it helps me gain strength, i can definitely sacrifice some ab definition.

Remember your whole body is going to hold water not just your muscles. It's probably just a little extra water on your stomach. Worry about that after your cycle when u dry out a little.

I'm assuming that your macros are Protein/Carbs/Fat. If so then I think you should try to get more protein in your diet and take the fat down just a little....that's just me though. I get about 310/300/100-150. I try to get as much protein as carbs. Again, that's what works for me.

I'm 2.5 weeks into my 15w first cycle and I'm really looking forward to the weeks to come and the progress I'm going to make. Keep us posted man!

had my bf measured yesterday, just curious to see how much i had gained, calipers said i actually dropped bf down to an avg of 6.5%. interesting. Thinking i might need to up cals more now haha. I'm up to 10 pounds gained though over the 6 weeks so far.

Some swelling in the nips when i don't take any nolva for a few days but other than that no side effects. Actually, i think my acne has decreased surprisingly.

Mods, i didnt really realize i was gonna turn this into a little mini-log. feel free to move it if you want.

aiight so after 9 weeks im up 20lbs, while it aint all lean im still really impressed most of my lifts are waaaaay up.

Question though,
I broke my thumb in december in a scuffle and have been having to wear a brace and avoid military presses completely because the thumb can barely even move afterwards and definitely cannot grip anything.

While I have found a couple ways around it, could you guys just offer some advice on shoulder sets that i could use to continue to avoid military pressing.

I'm getting old i guess.

using wrist STRAPS [ not wraps ] might help but inclines and reverse grip bench hit the delts pretty good without military presses.

Im not wrapping it, i've got an actual brace that ive been wearing, the fracture just can't handle the pressure. Alright I'll add in some reverse grip benching and see where it takes me.
