4th bloodtest in 4 months. Need advice.

OK I need to pull back on my Test. I am concerned about a few numbers. I have had bloodwork every 4 weeks for the last 4 months in effort to gauge my reaction etc.

I will list the 4 numbers in chronological order.

Hemocrit 47.4 51.7 53.9 53
Test Serum 821 1308 >1500 >1500
Free T N/A 49.4 >52 >52
Estradiol N/A 52.3 37.2 20.60
Estrone Serum N/A 28 31 78
AST 22 23 35 61
SHBG 46.4 15.4 27.3 30.7

The N/A is a marker for something not tested at the time. My concern among other things is the AST jumping so much in the last 4 weeks. I will donate blood asap and I am dropping my Test per week down 30%. Is AST really indicative of liver enzymes or other injuries?

Thanks for any advice. Current protocol includes 300T per week (way too much) Danazol 25mg per day, 300hcg day after pin, 1mg adex day after pin, and .5 adex 2 days after pin. Changing to proviron from danazol. Nipples are sensative but no lumps. Libido is off the charts. Bllod pressue is high. Dropping to 200mg Test for the next 4 weeks. I will probably pull back in the HCG and Adex the same percentage as the Test.

Yes, I know this is a mild cycle etc. I want my total Test to be about 1300, my SHBG at about 20 as well as Estradiol.

My concern is mostly due to the doubling of my AST numbers. No I did not drink a 12 pack of beer before the blood draw. I did my bloods before pinning. I pin 2 times per week.

I have a question if you don't mind.

Your libido is off the charts. Has it been that way consistently over the last four weeks or does it seem more correlated with specific test results?

Thanks

Maybe someone else can chime in on your AST situation. But, I'm just curious how you feel? Your numbers look pretty good.. Test is Maybe a little high?

Instead of asking fellow members you might want to ask your physician. I'm not trying to be an ass, but you need to talk to your doctor.

AST and ALT for that matter, are indicative of increases in liver stress. Your AST number is approaching a clinical level (3X your basedline) so you are right to be concerned.

However, it is almost certainly a function of the Danzol @ 25mg per day.

That can be quickly remedied.

I would be more concerned with your Crit level at 53%. How are your lipids? BP? I'd be be most concerned with the potential cardiovascular impacts.

300 mgs of test a week is way too much for HRT for 99% of the guys who go down this road.

My BP is always normal high even though I have been an athlete since day one. I average about 135/80 and lately it's been about 145/85. Still waiting for lipids etc. as I just went to my physician for that bloodwork. My hormone panel was done through Labcorp on my own. My physician is not educated in any of this although I did tell her everything. I was feeling terrible for several years and I am very confident it's related to hormone levels. I have not felt this good in 5-10 years. Sleeping better than ever, no more anxiety and panick attacks, motivated like I am young again. I run a high pace business and I had been dragging ass for the last couple years. I want to cut back on the test but not sure how much of an adjustment to make. I also want to keep SHBG low as I think that was why I was feeling terrible in the first place.

My libido has been great ever since I lowered SHBG. I cannot put into words how much better it is. It's almost too good if that is even believable.

Cashout, I always value your insight. Should I drop to 200mg per week or even lower? Just not sure how much of an adjustment to make.

I started with Test at high 300's and raised it quite a bit with 100mg of clomid ED for 2 months before trying TRT. When I started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) my estrogen was high as well as SHBG. I may even be able to stop testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and control estrogen now that I now it's effect on mood but really really enjoying how I feel after being ready to drive off a cliff for 3 years (no bullshit here). And this feeling is terrible when you have a great marriage, kids, business, etc.

I think I took bad advice and started at too high of a dose. I even posted to others not to do this. Practice what I preach eh? not. Anyway, just wanting to tweak things and get things back to normal.

I take 12+ imitrex injections per month for migraines. This is a vaso constrictor and may play a role in BP, but I am not sure. Without imitrex, I would not be here.

Based solely on what you've shared here, I suggest you drop to a 50 mg test cyp M/W/F schedule.

For couple of reasons...

First, you really need to get the hemocrit back below 50% - if it were me, that would be my first and most critical concern. Along with your BP being slightly elevated you should carefully watch the lipid numbers when you get them back- again long term cardiovascular issues are silent killers.

Next, from my two and a half year experience, I learned that it was much much easier for me to manage my estrogen once I divided my weekly dosages up into smaller more frequent injections. The reason for this was that my test peeks never got as high and it is the test peeks where the most significant estrogen issue arose.

So, that's 150 mg per week. I would guess that based on the numbers you provided from your 4 blood draws, 150mgs per week will still keep you over 1000 ng/dl for total test.

With the >1500 ng/dl numbers you are clocking now, we really don't know exactly how high your totals really are.

You definitely want to start donating blood soon. I agree with Cashout with your hemocrit levels. Too high of a % rate and your doc/endo may reduce or take you off test. Since you already have high BP and hemocrit, your chloresterol is prolly high or elevated. You should have that checked next time you get tested. Those three can be very dangerous.

Thank you gentlemen. I am going to track down a blood drive asap. Also dropping to 50mg x 3. Thanks again, I appreciate the advice.

For the questions above. I felt the absolute best during the last 2 blood draws. But since I am pushing dangerous levels with a few blood measures, I am hoping I can keep this balance with lower safe numbers.

My cholesterol is high and always had been. I have not had it checked for a few years but I have my paperwork to go get it done and will do so. My diet is clean, but high cholesterol run sin my family. Not sure if their are genetic indications with that.

Thanks again.

Quick question about donating blood. How soon can you resume normal workouts etc. This may be a niave question, but just curious if I would need to take a day or two off, or if I am good to go that day?
