abs everyday..not as bad as one might thiink

I've noticed alot of people say that abs should only be done once a week or a few times a week like most mucles. But, I have found that your abs need more conditing than other mucles.
this worked extremly good for me.

monday- do a hard abd workout.
tuesday- a few non-weighted cunches
wednessday-same has monday
thursday-same as tuesday.
and so on till sunday

sunday- give em a rest.
 
I try to do Abs every day as well or every second day depending on the time I have. They recover quickly like the calves.
 
I'll tell you why this is stupid IMO..

How are you supposed to squat and dead heavy when your abs are fucked 24/7? For the longest time I had all of my ab development from deads and squats ONLY, and absolutely zero ab work. I've mixed some in now and noticed some better definition, but I did it more to build core strength for big lifts. If you want a ripped stomach, lose some weight, don't beat the fuck out of your abs so the rest of your lifts suffer.

I just re-read your plan...

a few non weighted crunches? what does that even mean? like 3 crunches and that's it?
