Anavar for several injuries

Guys and Girls,

I'm a die-hard natural athlete and have been all my life, but until recently I had never even thought about anabolic steroids...until I ran into a fair bit of trouble with the body and over training injuries.

I'm 31 and train all year round for football - i love it. But my list of injuries from over-doing things is getting a bit crazy.

This is my list of current injuries:

Chronic tendinopathy in both patela tendons that have been treated with sclerosing injections (slightly successful), and now they want to do the whole blood injections into the tendon (injury since april 2011)

Chronic bursitis in oposing knees. pre and infrapatella. Treated with anti inflams for the past 9 months.

tendinitis in the elbow from throwing the ball

swelling in the AC due to a milk seperation and associated swelling

and now as of yesterday, I get diagnosed with a tear in the sheath that surrounds the achilles tendon of my left foot.

I haven't been able to squat properly in nearly a year, nor had a week without some serious physio, massage, injections (cortisone or sclerosing) and now the archilles injury is something that came out of nowhere...seems like the body is beginning to break down and even my immune system is now shot to sh*t. it's taking longer and longer to repair each injury.

I had been doing some research and saw that anavar is a fairly mild steroid and can help in collagen synthesis.

I was hoping someone here may have had a similar injury(s) and would like to share their experience with me in regards to what they did to assist the body in healing?

Any help would be great.

welcome to ology .
any collagen synthesis happens slowly over time so i doubt that 1 cycle or even a few cycle would make a noticeable difference on a lifetime of wear and tear.sorry bro

I just read somewhere that anavar increases collagen synthesis...and I thought maybe if could assist my body in healing if taken around 40mg/day...

it does increase collagen synthesis but you cant take Anavar (var) for a long time due to stress on the liver and it WILL shut down your testosterone production. it does not work miracles , you cant expect it to suddenly fix a lifetime of wear and tear , if it did it would be prescribed by a doctor .

I don't need a miracle. Just with all these injuries, the body is starting to struggle to repair them all at once...thought it might just assist with it. I'm not out to get an advantage over anyone or anything. At the moment I'm a homebody just resting...and have been for a month now, after 7 months of limited activity and rehab...just getting to be a very long process.

like i said ana Anavar (var) is a steroid and it will shut down your natural test production . it has limited ability to increase collagen synthesis.some steroids decrease collagen synthesis Anavar (var) is usefull if ran with those to counteract each other . there are several steroids that increase collagen synthesis but none to a great degree as far as i know.

A better option for you may be growth hormone. Read up on that. I agree that Anavar (var) won't do much for you and needs to be ran with injectable test to maintain.

I agree with this and possibly some of the new peps.

thought Anavar (var) wasn't that liver toxic?

It is actually! not as bad as drol or winnie but still toxic. It will also crush your HDL into the single digits

Since I last posted, I have gone through 2 more sets of sclerosing injections and now they have taken 22cc's of my platelate rich blood from my arm and jammed it into each tendon (which hurt like hell...day 5 now and still limping).

The fact of the matter still remains - what do i do?

I have decided to take the year off from competetive sports and concentrate on coaching - but I still want to train in the gym and rehab properly.

I have asked my sports physio/scientist and he's pretty keen to research the effects of Avanar on chromic tedinosis. By what he has already read, he thinks it may not decrease the time of rehabilitation, but may increase the quality of healing done within the body (basically recruiting the collagen fibres in the early stages of healing to then mature into type 3 collagen).

Of course, we are both concerned that it is a steroid and does have side affects, so more research will be done by both of us. I have 10 weeks before I have to hang up the boots for a good 12 months, so plenty of time to get the info.

Due to my decision to take the break, I don't really mind being a guinea pig for it...my goal is to just be able to walk when I'm 50. Whether or not GH or Var works..I guess will be up to the experimental process...and up to my pro as to which to take.

But yeah certainly needing something...

if your determined to run the var at least run 100-200 mg of test eth a week to replace your natural test .
