Anavar or just toughen up

Hi all. Firstly hope this post is not breaking any rules but here goes.

I'm 5"8 - 83 kg (182 pounds)
With pretty high body fat around my midsection and arms

I worked out regularly when I was younger but was plagued with muscle weakness and poor ability to train hard (became shakey even with small weights) and didnt build very well.

Anyway to my question. Im really keen on trying a cycle of Anavar as I was told this is good for fat burning plus some muscle mass.

Question 1 Anavar is pretty hard to find where I live and Im wondering if there is another product with a similar profile but maybe more readily available.

Question 2 Should I stop looking for an easy way out and just work my diet and train to get to where I want to be? Suppose my second question really is ...."will the progress on Anavar be significantly better than going natural; especially since the aim is NOT to bulk up and put on weight.

Many thanks

Toughen up. Anavar can't fix your inability to train properly, only education and experience will do that.

In addition, anavar only cycles are for women.

You are not ready for ANY steroids.

I wish I could tell many bros at the weight room here that.

That, and that they shouldn't be trying to lift heavy when your 6'2, 270, and fat as fuck. Cardio fat boy.

Essays is right. AAS will not benefit you and youll be wasting money. AAS is not a magic pill that will burn fat off of you.

The purpose of AAS is to take you beyond your genetic max but still requires a regimented workout routine and diet.
AAS will not work unless your training and eating properly.

As 3J would say, 80% diet 15%training and 5% gear.

Some recommend training for at least 2years prior to starting an AAS cycle. The reason for this is that AAS will help you put on muscle mass and you need the lower muscle fibers and tendons to support the added mass. (this will prevent injuries)

Also 2 years in the Gym will also help you sort out your routines as well as diet.
When training you have two options:
Build mass or Cut
if you have a high % of BF you need to cut
Look at Carb Cycling or contact 3J under the diet forum and to start on training: look at HIIT. Both those combined will get your bf% down

What do you mean 'plagued with muscle weakness'? Everyone is relatively weak when they start bud...that's why you put in the time and work (and eat) hard. The above advice is sound - stay away from gear and train your ass off for a while. If you push yourself hard (and smart) enough, the body will have no choice but to respond.

Best wishes.

Anavar is not bad for a guy who has a very good base. But anavar will not cut bf, it doesn't work that way. It's not a big mass builder.

You need to work on diet and training for a few years. If you want to think about gear, do that sometime in a few years because you will be disappointed

Telling someone not to lift heavy because they are fat and do tons of cardio is stupid. Lifting is the best thing someone can do at his stage. Even more than cardio IMO but less than diet.

I know it's kind of off-topic, but I disagree completely. I'm sure I would qualify as one of those 'fat boys' you see in your gym but have lost a good deal of body fat lifting weights on my own busted ass diet plan. Weight lifting is a proven method to lose body fat.
