Any reason in the world a pro or serious amateur wouldn't use t3??

If taken at a high enough dose, or without the necessary anabolics to accompany it, t3 causes muscle loss.
That alone scares serious BBers but then you have the fact that some people feel like shit on t3 - constant shaking, nausea, headaches, etc.

Certainly it's safe to use long term and much lower on the risk scale compared to other thermogenic supps.
But still, as with all compounds, you need to assess the risk/reward ratio for your own individual circumstances :)

Just curious rippedzilla, If i'm not mistaken you are about 6'2-6'3 220+ and shredded to the bone. Do you or have you regularly used it?

Additionally, why would bodybuilders care about muscle loss on t3 when they are on heavy anabolics the majority of the time they would even consider taking such a substance

I'm going to ignore the first part since you clearly just pulled a bunch of numbers out of your ass but yes, I have used it several times before.

Any compound that has muscle loss as a potential side effect is going to scare some BBers - context is irrelevant. Yes, it's an irrational fear but it certainly exists.

you can clearly see from rippedzilla's avi that he's a super hot blond girl sitting at about 120lbs tops. I have been trying to get his number for awhile now with no success...

Rippedzilla's spot-on with this...

T3 is the most active thyroid hormone in the body, so you want to use it properly
and with caution.

To properly run it, you should start out low and increased by no more than25 mcg every
1-2 weeks... with the established dose no more than 75 mcg.

Cycles are usually 6 weeks, and should not be stopped abruptly... It should be
discontinued by reducing the dose by 25 mcg every 4-7 days.

This is so your body has time to readjust its endogenous hormone production (which is very important.)

I typically run it between 50-75 mcg.

I've heard some folks say they don't like losing weight so quick but i don't understand what what difference does it make if they are protecting their muscle with in many cases 4-5 different compounds

If one would continue with the same calorie/macro/cardio combination after discontinuing... how much fat would be gained?

This is exactly why its an IRRATIONAL fear - a rational person would not be concerned with the amount of weight loss when their cycle is more than enough to keep, and possibly add, muscle.

But the main reason people don't "like" losing weight quick is simply because they are psychologically unable to handle it and usually end up back at square one by giving in to cravings aka binging.
Running a large deficit or high dose thermogenic compounds to create maximum fat loss will have you feeling like shit - I know because that's how I cut all the time. You feel tired, stressed, antisocial and are just an absolute pain in the ass to be around.

It takes a very goal oriented type of personality to handle this approach :)
