Anyone else notice the gym is a lil more empty right now?

When I was in college, the gym would get ridiculously packed 2 weeks before spring break.

I'm like really??? 2 weeks is not gonna do shit.
 
I've noticed two cycles in my gym, the yearly mesocycle and the weekly microcycle.
The yearly is fairly obvious, when it gets cold, people go to the gym, when it's warm they're outside more.
When the new year rolls around, LOOK OUT. Same with spring and summer breaks.

Then there is the weekly cycle.
Everyone over-eats on the weekend and feels guilty enough about it to go to the gym.
By the end of the week they're over it and stop going.
Friday's are a ghost town in my gym.
 
I've noticed a lot of the hot chicks have stoped coming in right before thanksgiving at my gym, but it's also easier to work out now.
 
Nothing like all the people with their new years resolutions. I'd say about 5-10% stick to it, maybe less. Give it two weeks to a month then they'll quit.
