Curious if anyone here takes and prescribed meds, like anxiety, depression or blood pressure medication?
Has anyone found any interaction between the meds and your AAS?

I don't mean to be intrusive, but it seems like most BBers aren't taking anything except AAS...

I currently take 15.25mg Valium and 7.5mg Remeron (Mirtazapine) at night, sometimes 300 - 600mg Gabapentin...

Thanks to those that reply.

I take bp meds, carvediol and irbesartan. And I track my bp by-weekly, more often if I change up/add any compounds. I find tren and dbol can raise my bp significantly unless I medicate. My primary care doc knows I'm on test, but I haven't divulged anything else.
Just did a blood draw this morning for an overall wellness checkup. I dropped long ester test 3 weeks ago and substituted with prop. I dropped prop last week and added 125mg test cyp(1 pin) do test levels should bs under 1000. She freaked out once when bloods came back > 1200 TT.

If you have bp issues and want to cycle, down some dbol before your dr visit. But be proactive in monitoring your health.

Yes, I've been on quite a few anxiety/depression/bp meds over the years. I was able to stop them all with TRT minus diabetes and lisinopril, which I had to restart as I have microalbumin issues.

Most contraindications refer to corticosteroids and glucosteroids, not AAS FYI.

I was on a bunch of anxiety/depression pill for a long time like Halfwit. I started TRT and dropped them all and never had an issue again with either of those two things. I do however take the odd prescribed sleeping pill from time to time.

Brother Id be cautious, while many of us have dealt with addiction. Using AAS while still on buprenorphine could be like setting down one gun and picking up another. Not trying to tell you what to do is just be aware.

used to take xanax and had no issues whatsoever (that is i took xanax on 3 cycles with 0 issues. It was actually, my saving grace when i took tren..Best of luck to you man

Before TRT I took BP meds (lisinopril) and cholesterol meds (pravistatin). I don't need either of them anymore. The only additional prescription medication that I take now is daily Cialis. I got clued into the positive effects of Cialis here -- even for guys without ED problems.

Yes. Mood stabilizers, blood pressure meds as well. Once your body is tolerated to them its no problem. When starting a med, it could have an effect in the beginning.

Good call Mega I take that daily as well. Tons of health benefits from it aside from libido and whatnot.

Was on antis for a while, BUT it drove me even more fucking nuts when I couldn't ejaculate, so I've dropped it. Going to look into some cialis as well

I had the same issue brother. Im a firm believer those things cause more issue than they do help for anyone taking them. Its a mask that after so long is almost impossible to take off for some people.

I'm on buprenorphine as well...What do you mean using AAS and bup at the same time would be "like setting down a gun and picking up another"..? The reason one takes buprenorphine is because hes RECOVERING from drug addiction...

I presently take Effexor or pristiq as it's called here in Canada now. anti depressant. many people say it's bad and testosterone should make you feel better, but it doesn't have that effect on me. Also, I have clonazepam that I'm supposed to take to sleep. I suffered a bad concussion and went down the pain pill addiction road, beat that after two years, but the headaches are still lingering, as well depression that started with being unable to do anything due to the frequent headaches.
so not sure if that gives any help to your search or not. good luck.

I am on 10mg Valium (Diazepam) ED, 0.5 Klonopin (Clonazepam) ED and 40mg Celexa ED.....All of these are for anxiety. Halfwit told me about the benefits of being on Test as in being able to come off benzo's......It is true, being on Test makes coming off benzos far easier, without Test coming off benzo's is just horrific, never known withdrawal effects like it. I was on much higher doses of benzos and now on fairly low doses.....Dr wont write me up another script for Test so trying some UGL stuff at the mo'. Test has helped me as in boost my confidence and lower my anxiety....Only Test I seem to have troubles with is Prop', that seems to make me anxious yet Cyp is fine?

I doubt its the ester. Probably more likely to hormonal fluctuations (TT & e2.) High e2 commonly increases anxiety.

And you think the logical path for a RECOVERING DRUG addict is to... take more drugs? You do know that AAS are drugs, right?

Sboxone, like opiates, is known to drive down natural test production. That said, I prolly had low test b4 I started suboxone from the high amount of heroin I was taking BUT, about a month after I started taking suboxone I had labs done. Found out that my test was super low, like 200 & change. That's the reason I'm now on TRT. So, I Dont agree that I'm picking up another gun, rather trying to get & stay healthy.

Sorry mate, I should have clarified; I was referring to cycling/blasting. Nothing wrong with TRT when it's needed.

Sure TRT is completely understandable, without that info I thought you were just talking about cycling. While in early recovery the extreme highs and low of cycling could push someone in to that same addictive pattern or drive someone back to using.
