I take c4 pre work out and energy is thru the roof with it thinking while I'm getting stronger with just my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and getting that in order I was gonna start taking a creatine also. Musclepharm has one with 5 diff creatines the main one is from Germany that everyone talks about and is supposed to be really good. Anyone else taking pre workouts or creatines

I use a basic monohydrate form at about 7 grams a day. It helps me hold an extra few pounds and gives me a a few more reps in the gym.

I've tried just about every kind that is available - ethyl ester, citritrate, ph-balanced HCL, ect because I get them for free.

You can spend a lot of extra money for some way overpriced kinds but the basic monohydrate has been shown to be effective and it is relativity cheap.

Are you taking the Creatine Monohydrate post workout? And if so are you taking it with any dextrose or anything to increase the Creatine uptake through an insulin spike?

Don't waste your money on tricked up creatine... Just buy pure creatine monohydrate in either power form or pill form. I use optimum nutritions, 300pills for like 20bucks off bodybuilding.com site. 7-10grams a day.

No. I take mine with my mid-morning shake. I train in the early afternoon.

There is no need to spike insulin to facilitate uptake or go through a loading phase.

Those are marketing techniques designed to sell more of the product.

I us 7 g a day. That is what i found is the right amount to keep my muscle mass properly saturated. More than that has no added effect for me and only creates GI tract distress.

That is a good product. It is a capsule so if any of you have GI distress from creatine, try it is pretty easy on the GI. I used them for a while and they are solid and cheap.

All the other "forms" of creatine are really just marketing and hype to empty your wallet.

I stopped taking it becacuse it always raised my kidney functions no matter how much water i drink to a little above high-normal range. But ya used to do 4-6g mon Ed.

It's been a while since I've taken Creatine but I'm about to start back up. If Cashout says Creatine Monohydrate is just as effective I believe him. That guys knows his stuff.

You can get Optimum Nutrition for less than 1/2 the price for the same # of servings. Why waste money for something that at best is equally effective?

Personally, I like T-Nation's. It's the only one I've found that doesn't stay "gritty" when mixed. Although I haven't tried ON's.

I looked it up on the GNC site a few minutes ago. I think it was $12 or $13 for 60 servings (the same number as what you linked)

I'm assuming your screen name needs updating after this season. Would that assumption be correct? :D:D:D RTR

I told you Cashout knows his stuff! I was actually wondering the other day if I could do that. I made it to New Orleans this year; no tickets to the game but I wasn't going to miss the party. RTR:D
