Allthough i agree with you on some IF standpoints, wouldnt it benefit you to take efa's as well as bcaa's to sustain muscle while fasting and thus keep your muscle instead of loosing it, as alot of people think happens while on an IF diet?
efa no.. bcaa absolutely.. it would help..
but its not just about amino acids.. your body needs both micro and macro nutrients.. your starving yourself on a IF diet.. simple as that..
its never ok to starve yourself.. even when doing fasting cardio you should have eaten within an hour of waking up
