Average size Biceps

Only people who worry about bi´s are beginners and people who dont work out, Started at 12.4 now at 17.3 probably will be at 18 within the next 8 weeks, how ever girls prefer the feel of my solid bulging shoulders, The way my pecs bounce forward and back when im smashing them full force, Then feel of my glutes and the the traps popping out the back.. Point is way too many people concentrate on bi´s when really the only person you impress is yourself in the mirror

Remember is how they look, a dude with 15 inch riped biceps will look bigger and better than a guy with 17 inch biceps that look like shit

remember, we aren't all bodybuilders. powerlifting is a sport too. i could give two shits less what my biceps look like but thats just me.

Hit 16" and forming the "egg" bi-bicep and single vein ripping overtop. I'm almost 50, so 16-17 will probably be all my tendons can do. It's weird to have to stop a set with something starts to hurt. Old, younger days just power through and heal in a day or two.

Of course, because curls are for the girls. I would rather have proportional arms and bench 500lbs. Because girls will still want to bang you and guys want to be you.

^^^ x 100%

i would rather be strong and big. squat/bench/deadlift

im sitting at around 17.75". i want my arms to get bigger, but im 6-2 and 255lbs. i have super long arms and a 6-7 wingspan. I would have to hit 275-300 to have huge arms.

you don't need to go heavy weights, moderate weights with high reps of 50 each bodypart will make you look like a BODYBUILDER

Sitting around 18''..broke it last month...getting diet in check along with B-12 shots.Amino acids powders.Hit 203 last week

I usually just do bi and tric and leave out all the bodyparts until i get the overtraining signs. Then do a cycle with the bodyparts.I just make me like doing bi-tris.Tris make up for 3/4 of the arm.Nice slow steady movements.Just pack mass to it once a week doing bench.

Shoot'in for 19inches at 200 and 5'7"

I measured my biceps today after a back session and they were a shade over 20. cold I'm guessing right around 20.
however, a telephone pole neck with a set of traps running right down from the neck to the shoulders and showing through the shirt has proven to get me more attention from the ladies more than any other muscle group. when you can look straight in the mirror and see your neck showing on the sides behind your ears, you will know what I mean.

I don't get you curl gives that peak on bicep

Thank Jesus! I was waiting for someone to defend training your biceps.... What the christ has this site turned into??? I don't care how long anyone's been lifting. Biceps and triceps should both be trained regularly. I fully believe you will not get big arms without training your biceps. I personally do not do heavy weight with my bi's and my arms are huge. I like doing 4 sets of 12, straight barbell curls with only 95 lbs. Then hammer curling 4 sets of 12 with 70 lb dumbbells. Then I'll do whatever else I'm feeling like for bi's that day, sometimes ex bar curls to hit the other part of my biceps. But I don't understand why you guys would say that curling is for girls... I just don't get that...

Teach me your ways master.

Maybe I'll be the genetic freak going for 19" at 200 pounds.

Seriously ...I was weighing at 191-193 when i broke the 18 inch barrier...I should go for 18.5 first before 19 is within view.

I did something great and got the weigh up to 203 and holding 200..Of course the size didn't increase in my arms it's solid muscle and no water.B-12 shots supposedly to decreased weight but I'm in a bulking mode and hit 200 within ease.

So no such thing as 5'7" at 200 pounds having 19 inch arms ??...I'm impressed...I'm soooo close to being there.Especially with 16 inch Calves :-)

Right there with you. I'm more concerned with how much power I can get out of my traps and posterior chain than biceps. The only time my biceps get sore or even much work at all is during heavy work on a tire. And even then, it'd have to be the 1000lb tire, none of that pissing about with the smaller ones.

Exactly! Everything I do in the gym makes my quads and butt bigger. That's okay with me, really, because that's how I lift. And I'm 6'5" and 260 at the moment -- I'd have to be 300-330 to get massive arms. I'm happy with my biceps (well, more is always better but still) as the are. Now, for goddamn treetrunk hams and quads? Boy, I'd give my next paycheck! :)

i read in mens health years ago 13" was the average guys biceps. think they also listed hulk hogans at 24.
