Bad injection.

Hi guys.

I've been on sust for 5 weeks now, and just today had a bad injection in my left thigh.

I applied the rubbing alcohol but I think I waited a bit too long to inject...so it might have dried off. Then I grabbed a 25G / 1.5" needle and injected an inch down. I normally use 1", but had some spare 1.5" so I used one.

I did aspirate.

When I pulled the needle out, I bled quite a bit for a second, covered it with an alcohol pad and the bleeding stopped. It was just one quick outburst then nothing. No dizziness, so I don't think I injected into a blood vessel. Plus, I aspirated and no blood was drawn up.

In the past, whenever I withdrew the needle, the blood was minimal...only a very small drop. But today it seemed to be pouring...Any ideas what that means?

You just went thru a vein......nothing more, nothing less and no need to worry.

sometimes you will have a gusher. sometimes nothing. as long as you dont get an abcess/infection be happy.

Thanks guys! Everything has been fine since the initial pouring, but I just wanted to make sure there was no problem here.

I was injecting in my quads for about 8wks and the last to injections have been really bad , pain wise. I dont get it, both quads I hit were sore for 1wk and I've been using the same gear and had no problems before. I think I hit a nerve both times , because all Iget is swelling no redness and the spot isnt warm.

yeah, those are fun!! when you pull the needle out, blood will shoot out 6 inches or more; you'll shit yourself when it happens, but you'll be ok, i promise.

i bleed out of my quads every time i hit them (at least twice a week)... i cant help but wonder if the blood pushes the oil out of your body too.

i dont think so. i think you hit veins closer to the surface and when you pull the pin out you bring that blood w/ it. i hope anyway

had the same thing happen and wondered the same thing... so i tasted the blood and no, it doesnt push the oil out. maybe a tiny bit but other than that no.

I always hold a piece of gauze at the site of inj, when i withdraw the syringe and just get a tiny bit of blood on it nothing more.

But most generally when injecting into quads I bleed out a lot.

Most of these guys probably dont even cycle anymore. Comments are a waste of time and you are bumping 10 year old threads that no one else wants to read.
