bar position

k I'm looknig for some different opinions on this but this week I jsut felt like crap outta the rack was hitting on everything bar ddin't feel centered etc.

the power rack has holes ever 2 inches approx so I normally have it so the bar is about the height of my collar bone... I'm thiking of lowering it 2 inches


give me your thoughts please
 
It sounds like you are squatting right?

If so, it is better to have the bar sit lower, so its on the top of your back not your neck. So lowering the bar 2 inches sounds like a good idea.
 
racks fuggin suck you will almost never find the perfect fit..
i can tell ya if the bar is at your collar bone its most likely too high..

theres nothing wrong with high bar squatting (ask bubba) but id rather see you learn to get the bar a little lower
 
Arm pit height. If it's at your collar boen then use the one below, should be about right.
 
i like it one notch to low.when i set up i got the bar down on my traps a good grove between the trap and rear delt the bar fits in.i also grip the bar way out wide.
