Be careful when driving!

Mr. Peluso was stopped after a license plate reader determined his vehicle registration was suspended. Police then determined Mr. Peluso was driving on a revoked license, according a report in the Putnam (New York) Daily Voice.

And uhnmm, don't drive on a suspended license with out of date tabs LOL. Makes one wonder just how much these aides earn if he can't take care of tabs and pay his restitution... :wiggle:

Keep steroids safely in you home. Traffic stops are how probably the majority of drug busts happen. If you fit the profile, cops will pull you over and make every effort to violate your constitutionally guaranteed rights. Something else to remember is to never open the door to your house to a cop. They can't do a dam thing to you. Let them get a warrant.

That was stupid. Just asking to have your life turned upside down.

Exactly.

Back in my less responsible days, if I knew I had something in the car I wasn't supposed to, I'd sure as hell make DAMN sure I wasn't giving officers a REASON to pull me over.

I'm with you. Always make sure your vehicle is street legal. No busted tail lights. Your turn signals work. Your tires don't extend past your wheel well.. Understand what fog lines are, and most important, cops have no problem lying under oath in court. I could continue, but you get the message.

Even your tag , light, check it and if it has 2 bulbs and one is out or if something is dimming it or etc... They will say they couldn't see the tag. Try and beat that. Not that I carry anything ANYMORE I have 2 bright ass LED tag lights. Haaa,... my Volvo looks good with them :)

Use common sense. Avoid carrying any contraband in a vehicle and if you must, lock it up in the trunk. Never keep it in the passenger compartment that officers can always search for weapons and bust you for anything that turns up. Do not consent to any search. Do not violate traffic laws. Keep your license, registration, and insurance current and your vehicle in good repair.
