Best way to/Who's had their teeth whitened at the dentist?

I plan to have all my front top and bottom teeth ripped out over the next year and some form of a bridge/implant put in.

So thats how im doing it :) :smash:

But my case is unique because I hate my teeth and whitening is not the only issue...

Had thge zoom process & wasn't happy. Not crazy about widdling down my teeth to knubs to accomodate porcelain veeners. Decided on Lumineers & haven't stopped smiling. Have had them for about 5 years & They haven't stained a bit. Have chipped 2 of the 20 which requires replacement but I'm pretty tough on the grinding.

I've done the at home whitening thing..never again! Did it 3 days in a row, and it made some of my teeth so fn sensitive to air..f that.

That was with crest white strips..the dentist version is much stronger..so good luck if you go that route.

Yup. not hatin..she's a good goalie I heard too, but she escaped pelican bat state prison..last seen on miami beach eating chicken drums dipped in ice cream..

My teeth are very sensitive to a lot of those whitening kits. I think that new 3-d mouth rinse does help brighten them up. Also Liquid Smile pen doesn't have sensitivity associated with it and it does ok.

spray paint works good too, it's not as permanant, but cheap and quick..n you can get the lead free gloss easy dry at home depot....tips:)

what about those things where they use the laser thing and some type of gel.....

Yea... i guess there's two kinds(light). . . I tried one a while back that a local dentist was running a special on. Is aight. . I guess the gel one/1-2 hours and a little pricey is supposed to be badass. I gonna pull the trigger when i get my taxes back
(use to love sweet tea) Now i drink that/coffee w a straw if at all

I see. . ^^Bump for feedback for the best brands

Now if i can talk Rollergirl into applying it for me :D

We sell it where I work. I just like it cuz it's easy, no hassle, no pain in my brain either and it does get the stains off

That is still one of the creepiest pictures I have ever seen.... :shoot5:

No my teeth aint that bad, but I do have 2 pulled, getting a third(with this next one two are front top teeth) and they are crooked a bit and not very white.

I brushed em like hell, killed tons of mouth wash, etc for years...doesnt help. Genetically I got screwed on teeth. At 24, I think I would prefer dentures that lock into those metal rods than my real teeth.

Yea it's nice to have confidence in your smile.

I have kick ass insurance..but if I ever need to do cosmetic work on my teeth it's not covered..and it ain't cheap.

I hear u Zero,

If I felt like that about my teeth I would totally do something about it.

But for the record Mrs P's bitch is one hot Biatch !!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had veneers put on most of mine over time - if you don't do most of them at once it's best to have them whitened first. :D

It's really nice once it's done but it's also very expensive.

It all started in a hotel (with my wife) - the lights were out and I dove into bed ... "surprise - NO BED" - face first into a table!

I chipped a tooth - so they caped it - then had the veneers added - several at a time.

Prior to that our dentist gave us a teeth whitening (bleach) for our wedding gift which worked real nice.

But the nice thing with veneers is they will never stain - except if you break one it's around a grand to replace it - which I've done - and that part really sucks!!!

But over all it's well worth the investment - no question about it. :D
