Dude, I'm LMAO, when I here these stories, " like help , help a drop of blood and stopped though, will I die, how much time do I have left"?
OP I'm not laughing at you. Don't take it personal. It's just I've seen and done it all. I bleed 50% of the 40% of the time. I've had blood spew out like a pressure hose. Most of the time you hit a vessel big , small anything even just those tiny capillaries that you go through each and every time you stab. You n=might go through a vein and the needle causes a very slight vacuum in you tissue as the needle is withdrawn and the blood follow it right out.
Cut your finger with a knife and it bleeds. So do you think OMG what did I hit, a vein, what will happen. Well you hit capillaries in your finger and it bleeds. This is the same principal. Just because it is a tiny needle, makes it less worry some , think about it. If you hit a vein it is just more blood and a hematoma and black n blue. It closes and stops.
Again think guys this is not rocket science. It is Simple Simon. Keep everything sterile and you will be ok. There is ALMOST nothing you can fuck up if sterile. Contrary to much belief if you hit and go into a vein you will get very little compound in the vein. No enough to even bother you.
Why I say. You will never be able to keep that needle in the vein deep in you glute or even anywhere else. Watch so many nurses try to draw blood. Really guys they sab and miss they hit it and go through the other side, they push it back and the go out the side while you are saying WTF are you doing. And you bleed, oh and that stops also. They do this all day. good and bad hits all day long when the have your arm and the vein in plane site.
So you guys think you are going to stab yourself blind hit a vein, bleed to death or get enough of the steroid in that vein to do anything? Hello the doc or nurse can't even stay in...Hello>
Too many years for me as an IV and IM user. Think it out.
