Blood every time?

2thetop

Excuse are for Pussies!
Ive read a lot of articles were people talk about how they never aspirated over mutiple years and what not and never had an issue. Well im on my 2nd week of my first cycle and i get blood everytime i aspirate for the first time, the second time is usually good. So my qiestion is am i doing something wrong as far as location(glute) or am i just that unlucky bastard that if i didnt aspirate i would have died?

I dont think you are unlucky. I think the problem may lie in your injection site. Some people have more veins in places than others.

Maybe try injecting your thigh next time. If you need directions on how to, go to SpotInjections.com if you haven't done so already.

no you dont have to asprirate and that wont kill you either,

Yeah, why would you want to do something that takes 1/10th of a second and could stop some serious problems, the least of which is wasting your gear by shooting it into a vein.

I will never understand the tough guy attitude that aspiration is not necessary.

It sure as hell can kill you! Depending on amount ofcourse.
Anyway whereabout do you hit glutes? Have you tried following as Mr.Miami said spotinjections.com? There youll get all the help you need.

Otherwise try the vastus lateralis muscle, long and easy to hit.

SC. So if a vein is hit it was a wasted shot completely? What about just a couple specs of blood on cotton swab after inject, wasted shot too?

I don't get it either. And the funny thing is they'll be the ones that make sure everything else in the cycle is spot on just to be on the safe side. But they won't take a second to give the plunger a little tug to be on the safe side.

Only if you inject directly into a vein.

A couple drops means you just nicked a vein or blood vessel and is nothing to worry about

If you have ever been to the our body exhibit you'd be amazed at how many veins are in the body. It's unreal.

Yea i follow spot injections but this is my first cycle so im sure im not spot on where i need to be. I try and follow what it says but its kinda hard to do by yourself in the glute and i dont think im bold enough to try anywhere else yet. It just seems like there are so many more risk or room for error in the other spots.

One way I was taught to do the glutes is to use your thumb and index finger. Put your thumb on your hip bone on your side and swing your index finger around until you're in the top outer part of your glute. It should put you right in the area you need to be. Always worked for me until I just got used to the spot and didn't need to do it anymore.

I would really recommend vastus lateralis, this is much easier for me then glutes (have a real hard time reaching). Just sit down on the toilet or where you want, have youre legs forward and not like when sitting down regularly. Swipe the area and inject, it is real easy.

good luck if you choose to try it.

Because most people do more damage wallowing the needle around in the tissue, causing scarring, infection and pain. If you have someone else to inject you, fine. SC, you know more than anyone how many threads are created because" i think i might have an abcess?" thats why

Really? Youre going to lecture us on aspirating while you take your lessons from spot injections.com? What would actuallly be the cause of death?

....and this has "WHAT" to do with aspiration?

Lets see..... youre turned around ass backwards trying to inject yourself, hold the needle still, and pull the plunger back, without moving the needle, push everything back into the muscle wait and pull out. Cant you not see where are 30 yr old man with limited injection practice, limited range of movement, whose also nervous and excited about shooting gear could hurt himself? Again my reference to the tons of threads about a "possible abcess"

OK....I see now that you obviously do not know how to properly aspirate, no wonder you don't do it.......lol

All you have to do is give the plunger a little flick and if you're in a vein there will be blood rushing into the syringe. You sound as if you think you have to pull it back a quarter inch or something and that is just not the case.

When a doctor or nurse gives you an IM shot, you probably don't even notice they do it, but trust me they do. That is how easy and inconspicous it is.
