Body weight workouts with some weights used for back

Quick question can you get as big as Arnold without using weights? Has anyone been really successful without body weight exercises at home with some kind of bands or pull up bars? I didn't go to the gym today so instead of doing nothing just burnt out on pushups and squats and I'm pumped like a son of a b.

240 lbs
body fat not sure less than 13or 14 tho

been doing reverse pyramid workouts each mucle group once a week. calorie 500 above maintenance

Also, you don't need the steroids.

5'10 and 240 at less than 13% body fat? You must be huge, I would like to see pics.

Your an inch shorter then darkwing and heavier by 10 pounds with a low BF, point being he looks huge.

Also you ask can you get as big as Arnold with home workouts? Something tells me Arnold was under 240...
 
The only thing that will really build / grow MM is overload to failure. So I don't think you can reach that as a steady workout routine without increasing weight. At some degree you are doing an isometric. All this is what I have found to be true with my experience.

I really Question your stats at 5'10 and 240 lbs with that least BF%. So like some others please show some pics in order that we are all on the same page.

You;ve been here a while , how old are you man ? .. :)

When I was younger in my 30's I would bulk to 210 lb and diet to weigh in at 177 lb... I am an ectomorph. see my profile. So please some pics to help answer your Q's

Arnold was 6'2 and weighed 235 on stage and competed at like 9% bf , and he was huge . OP is 4 inches shorter even and still that weight. impressive.

OP , with those stats, forget body weight exercise, you can just keep doing whatever you been doing cause it sure the hell is working :)

Really? I honestly thought Arnold was a little shorter than that, but I do admit I haven't done to much research in the area of his stats.

I just thought it was an interesting question asking "can you get as big as Arnold with at home workouts?" when he's already bigger than him, maybe just a question for fun?

Ok my bf has got to be off then with the replys. I was going off pictures of other people that had bf listed and calipers at home. And just reading about what veins and stuff will be out at certain percentages but obv its way off cuz I don't look anything like Arnold. and I think he was 270 while bulking..

Just curious really. Never hurts to look for good stuff right. Thanks man ! I'm heavier than Arnold when he comp'd but makes me look like a staving child in Africa. So crazy how much it takes and how much he would have had to do since he was young. Following a diet from 3j right now it's making me more vascular and bigger too at first lost weight but I put on like 10 lbs in 2 weeks just recently and still happy with my gut for the most part.

You are defiantly big and have some impressive measurements like your arms.


Ok good pic for us. Now IMOP you are not less then 15% BF maybe a little more. BF% are very deceiving for the average person to recognize. You are naturally a big man. Nothing wrong with this but you are carrying IMOP a lot of water. If you were to get rid of some water your arm measurements would lessen as well as a few other places and you of course would be more vascular. I'm just saying and this is IMOP.

No problem with your physique , it's what you want to look like that determines a lot. Not an Ectomorph but looking like a mesomorph you are doing good.

keep your test dosage low and the tren and mast dosage high , you'll be able to shed some water weight and really bring out your physique and vascualrity. don't be tempted to start running high dosage of test, this will make you appear to have higher body fat % then you really are.

You find this true even with proper AI dosage and following a low sodium diet and maybe eating some natty diueretics like asparagus and black coffee/?

even when you control estrogen to a tee, high levels of testosterone just give a 'smooth' look. you can manipulate your water and your estrogen as best you can , but high levels of test just cause this look for some reason. This is why competive body builders will drop their test E base about 6 weeks out from a show and switch over to a low dose of test prop, cause with the test prop they can drop that completely the week of the show so it will clear and they'll have Zero testosterone in their system when it comes to show time. cause test just does not let you dry out as best you can.

of course OP may not be stepping on stage , but again if he runs a lower dose of test he can dry out to a degree while running the mast and tren. i know anytime i run high amounts of test i get full and swole and hold water even if i control estrogen and manage water with otc diuretics, herbs, low sodium , etc..

I'm running Mast and Tren right now , with only 175mg of test a week. and I'm definitely liking the low test. getting more vascular and dry and have zero estrogen issues
