I'm 61, 173#, 5'5" Been lifting for 30+ years off and on...Looking to increase my bench and add some size in the chest. I currently work on a 4 day split...
Monday chest/tri
Tuesday legs
Wed off
Thursday back/bi
Friday shoulders
Sat/Sun off
No AAS for a couple of years now but on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) at 200mg/eow

Any suggestions for an old guy that still loves to lift would be much appreciated...

Is Stone Cold still around???

thanks

Go easy on the shoulders, with every press and pull you are already working them. I notice you have a whole day dedicated to them, so I hope you aren't doing big volume there.

Hit some JM Presses after bench you will notice an immediate increase in your flat bench next time around, well at least I did and a few others. Heres a great clip if you don't know how to do them,

YouTube - JM Press with intro You can fastforward 4 minutes of it if you want.

Are you only doing one compound exercise when you work chest? How many set-reps? Ever thought of just a little if any shoulder work during chest day instead of it's own day?

I work shoulders seperate because I've had both scoped. I use light weight with high reps and lots of warm up sets...
