Hey guys,
It's been a while since I've been on here...its been a while since I've been in shape as well. But I have hit rock bottom with being a slob. I am determined to get in fantastic shape by March or so and I wanted to hear your guys' ideas for the best way to go about it.

I am thinking to go on a moderate diet to drop about 15 lbs of body fat while getting my lifting back to par. Lift pretty intensely for two months and then continue to diet down.

My main goal is to get pretty lean, not to put on mass. I might run clen/t3 at some point but that is it...no gear, maybe some supps though. let me know what you think.
 
I was right with you....

5 years ago I was 265lbs at 12-13% BF. I stopped after I had 2 kids and balloned to 275 at about 30% bf...SLOBB!!

About 1.5 years ago I went to a calorie restricted diet and back to the gym for about 2-3 times per week. Mainly focusing on my cals.

I went from about 4000+ to about 2000-2500 cals per day. Trying to get as much protien as possible.

After about 3 months, I dropped 20lbs, but BF was still up there...about 26%. I stayed at about 250-255 for another year just watching what I ate, but left the gym.

It sucks but I cant get up for the gym totally without being "on"

Well about 4 months ago, I got back on as I was going on a trip to Mexico and got back into the gym 5-6 days a week focusing on weights mostly with a little cardio mixed in. I again looked at my diet and kept my cals at about 2500-2700 with a lot of protien and low glycemic carbs.

I am now at 238lbs at about 18%, I am "off" now, but on a long run of GH. I am in my third month of 6 total. I took a low dose of test(10 weeks) and oral turinabol(8 weeks) and loved the feeling again. It was a long time since my last cycle.

I will get back on in about 5 weeks, this time doing low test and eq(10 weeks). The GH will be going as well.

My goal is 225-230 at about 10-12% BF.

Sorry I wrote a book, but I was right where you were and thought you should hear how I did it.

I definately could have reached my goal faster, but its tough with a family, especially when you love food as much as I do.

thanks for the input guys. I am going to be cranking it pretty hard for the next few months. I will probably be doing one of my crazy diets and I'll see what I can get out it. I'll keep you posted.

I was gonna say, do the fucking 25lbs in 25 days diet you retard. :D

Glad you decided to come back. I'd like to think it was my outta the blue PM about how sexy your cankles are and how I missed them. lol

Only suggestion i would make is to make sure you get the muscle memory kicking before you do ANY dieting whatsoever. It will help with the fat burning.

good point rj. when I come out of slumps I always just want to drop body fat so I don't get nauseous when I look in the mirror. But I will spend a good few weeks with higher cals and heavier lifting before I jump into dieting.

and yes, your note about my cankles brought back so many fond memories, I just had to come running back
 
Liked having you around, so it's good to have you back. I think you'll like getting back into the swing of things, I know I always do after some time off. Looking forward to reading your future posts brother

What style of training are you thinking of doing?
You should try crossfit.
Also RJ90210 has a great HIIT program you might want to check out.

thanks for the warm welcome back! I'm not sure what kind of training I should jump into. I'm in pretty bad shape right now, man, and I think I would respond well to anything. I need to drop about 25 lbs to be somewhat lean again, which as you guys know is not too much of a problem for me. I know I need to focus on training and filling out again but I just want this damn weight off so bad. I've got a fucking muffin top...kind of.

I think I'm going to heed rj's advice and focus on getting my lifting and diet in check before I start dropping the weight. I always respond well to the staple and compound lifts, moderately heavy. I'll start that and see how I respond. If I can fit my fat ass in a picture I'll try to take some before and afters and start a journal.

i think this is the best thing you can do right now. You know how it is, once you start filling out you'll feel leaner. Don't sweat the fat right now.... its winter time. Hairy chest, white skin... and mounds of muscle (sounds like a gay porn title. sheesh!).

Just focus on strength and getting used to moving weight again and you'll be back full steam in no time.

As long as your shoulders are at least 15 inches bigger around than your waist... you're golden.

I know man...I think I might be done with gear for a while. The last cycle I ran (test/deca) for some reason really messed me up for a while. I got pretty bad gyno, which I am currently taking care of, and it took about 8 months for my balls to grow back and for me to have any kind of libido.

So I'm going natural and I hope I have the knowledge it takes to make the same progress without the help of gear.

I almost don't want to share....I'm 210, I'd say 16-17%. My muscle mass has obviously dropped; I haven't been on in almost a year and both my training and diet have been lousy. Got any ideas 3j?
