Crossfit...anybody implement these workouts with primarily bodybuilding routine

You guys obviously never scene crossfitters at elite level juiced up. The ones i see also compete can clumb rope do amazing shit and there not worried about proper form and scared to get hurt

I m REALLY tired of PLanet. Fagnesses hypocritical no judgement thing as they are so biased against ME , and those I train--elite females or not at all.
I m going back to the Power Shak after lil T leaves...ducking for cover. lol

I don't know where you got only 2 times a week. Most crossfit ers are in the gym 5 days a week. It's brutal. Great for atheleats. My body it to old and broken for cross fit.

Crossfit is the ex college athlete waistland. They are fierce.

I agree elite cross filter are in great shape. It's about strength and performance in volume. It's much more in line with the conditioning I do to play hockey.

na mate, that's me at 89kg a year ago. I dieted down from 99kg.

Now I weigh 106kg and will need to diet down to 93kg to compete in Oct (national titles).

So bigger and better this year, but no pictures to speak of until I compete next

most elite cross fitters are on AAS - same as football, cycling, boxing, MMA etc

Also helps them keep strong whilst doing hours of cardio

Yea....def juiced up, but some of their physiques tell me that they're doing some bodybuilding routines on the side. That's my theory at least.

The woman that owns the crossfit next ti us is a beast super lean strong straight animal mentality. Her members are also is amazing condition i don't know how often they train but everytime i go they are there practicing over and over its definitely brutal.
 
Been doing Crossfit since 2008. Ive had one injury, left shoulder doing something silly. Other than that it's good. First time finding max lifts after about 2 months it was about 275 deadlift, 250 squat and 120 strict press. Last week I deadlifted 525 for 2 reps, I squat over 400 and best strict press is 225. Bench is 350 but it's not a focus. I'm 49, 5'10" and about 210 at the moment. I usually run closer to 200.

It's important to realize that "Crossfit" means different things to different people. It's not a McDonald's. One Crossfit gym in town might never lift heavy and do hour long metabolic meltdowns every day. The one a mile away might do regular strength training and metabolic work that is 90% in the 5-15 minute domain. I happily enjoy the latter.

And that Crossfit gym won't make you a weak skinny guy. Far from it. I went from a big fat weak guy to a pretty lean guy above average strength to a very lean guy with far above average strength. Adding TRT a few years ago helped, but I was already lean and strong. At one point before TRT, at 45, I was 180 pounds, deadlifting over 400, squatting 350.

It has made everything much better. I like being strong, trim, and looking good in and out of my clothes. I love the community at my gym and have friends from it that I enjoy outside the gym. I chuckle when I hear the stereotypes but I don't rail against them. I enjoy what I have.
 
My daughter is just now seriously getting into lifting. My girlfriend has been seriously into crossfit. My daughter has been with her a couple of times and asked me what I thought about it. My response was anytime the goal is to compete against a clock and get as many reps as possible on heavy compound movements you're just asking for trouble. Especially with newer people who may not know proper form, technique or have the years of experienced lifting that alot of vets do. That said, my girlfriend doesn't lift heavy anymore and enjoys more of the cardio and motivation aspects from the atmosphere

Cross fitter don't just do the crossfire routines. They train in any discipline that helps them compete. Thy weight lift for strength they swim and cycle and climb. IT's not about the clock it about competing against the other guy to be the strongest and fastest.

Cross fit can go f!#k its self it even ruined kettle bells watching these retards swinging them around like there doing around the world with yoyo or swinging around on chin up bars like monkey bars in a kids play ground even the idea behind it is backwards who can exercise the fastest who fucking cares

Another guy who sits at home and watches YouTube.....you guys only have the perception of what you see on the internet and what others say about it. When you actually see how they train and know they are in better condition than you then youd respect what they do not like respect.

My op was more about morphing the idea about mixing a fast paced routine into bodybuilding to help cut for an event whether it's a photo shoot or bb show. Using bodybuilding movement or exercises once a week and keeping rest periods to a minimum or even going from one exercise to another with no rest
