Not sure bro. I'm new to it too. But with the cell app you scan barcodes and it will pull up the nutritional info immediately.
It is more in-depth when you log in online to your account. I haven't played with it enough. I like it because it tells me how many calories I get it and how much of it is carbs, fat, and protein.
When you go to 'Add Foods'...there is a little barcode thingy to the right of where you search for it...ta-da.
Also it seems you can only have "3 meals" a day and a snack with this...so I have to cram two meals into some random spot. But oh well. It works and I know exactly how many calories a day I am taking in. So I know I SHOULD be gaining weight if it is right...which it is.
Now there is no excuse for not getting your calories!! Just measure and record everything you eat!
